Loveland in November

Went to the Ski Rex sale this weekend and went to the loveland tent. they had these lottery ticket things and I got 25 bucks off of a lift ticket. was thinking of going in november. Never been to loveland and wanted to know whats open, hows the coverage and things. anyone with insight would be helpful.

November can be good as thats when stuff starts to open. If you are at loveland on a big day when they are dropping ropes you will get good snow all day. Last year november was real sick, however its early in the season so if they arent getting the snow it wont be that awesome. if it snows in Nov go there, if it doesnt, go in early May.

i went to loveland in november last year and we ducked some rope to an un opened run and got about 18 inches of pow on a blue bird day. best day of skiing ever.

I agree with bfnradford's thoughts. Early November can be hit or miss in terms of terrain openings, on a good year a fair amount of the mountain will start to open by the second week in November, on a bad year, you'll still be skiing only man made snow. By the end of November you can pretty much guarantee some fun terrain will be open. One other thing to keep in mind is that Loveland is a lot less crowded than Abasin early season before the other resorts open, so that coupon could be a good chance to escape abay for a day.

I got the same exact thing at Ski-rex. If I were you I'd try to go there in Nov. maybe Thanksgiving break. The snow should be very good and not a ton of crowds. Last year I went to Vail (which is typically more crowded than Loveland), on the day before Thanksgiving and it was by best day of the season.
So what others are saying, if the snow's good- go for it. If not hold off.

yeah, i'm hoping the snow and weather are good so i can go. was thinking the weekend before thanksgiving. thanks for the info guys.
