its fuckn sick aye i was up in methven gettn my seasons pass to day snow was in the air it was cold as cudnt see the mountain dew to clouds which were delivering snow

Just a little Mt.Hutt update

Hutt lost most of the snow it got in those couple dumps as you can see in the web cam but all the new snow making lines were finished a couple days ago and snowmaking will start tomorrow and it seems that the temperature will start dropping (not 100% im in canada still but my friend who works snowmaking said so lol). As well the 6 pack is completly finished YAY. Shold be interesting how its going to work in high winds but to be able to get to the top in 6 min is going to be awesome. SO anyways everything should be good to go for the 4th

ive got my fingers crossed for snow aye ive got some one to fill in for me at work on that saturday im going skiing if they are open or not!!!!!!!!

talk about fucking timing hutts due to open in six days and the snow only just decided to arrive im dnt no if its going to form a base or not but theve got snow making underway and hopefully ill be skiing in 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!

no shit for good timing. Ive been freakin out worried that i would arrive and have snow. I leave for the airport to start the extremly long ass trip to christchurch in 1 hour from Vancouver. looks like ill be spending a night in christchurch though as aperently i just found out there is only a shuttle on wed not tuesdaz FUCK lol oh well i got a few days untill the mountain opens anýway. Ill probably talk to you all when i get there on here cause ill be for sure bitching about the painful flight, something always goes wrong when i fly.

wow the flight was actually painless and i did find a ride out to methven on tuesday so everything has worked out, even found myself a pretty sweet place to live. Looks like hutt should open on sat not 100% sure yet but a system will be coming in tonight which hopefully will leave us with a bit of snow. Im going up tomorrow to check it all going to see if i can get someone to drive me up on sled and maybe get a run in

yeah the snow is so sick. I live in Wanaka and its just white everywhere. cant wait. Coronet opens on the 11th !

ah dont gt ur hopes up those mountains were completly bare a few days ago..... BUT DAM so good 2 c sum white stuff at last

 
yep Hutt will open but it will only be the quad, the 6 pack might open but only for sightseeing. THe park crew is trying to get some boxes and rails up for tomorrow as well. If you just want to ski its only going to be the new beginner trail so it wont be much. SHould be good though. IF any of you are up there tomorrow im wearing a giro mx helmet and have head mojos

pretty decent weekend at hutt. diffently needs a lot more snow. with only the one run open it got pretty crowded. There were some boxes and a rail set up along the run to make things a bit better. If that wasent there it would have been extremlly boring lapping on the quad. There was a big butter box probably 3meters wide and 5 long, lots of fun to spin onto and just fool around on. Then there was a 5 m flat box, 5m flat rail and a small up box. Big dump of snow expected on monday or tuesday so things will get better soon.
