Lots of broken

Spring skiing. Broke a carbon fiber pole, broke my rossi 140's, and got a monster core shot. I don't even know when any of them happened.

I was doing park laps all morning, then skied a long bump run. Looked down halfway through the bump run and the bottom third of my pole is missing. Changed out poles, because I always carry a spare.

Stopped at my car the end of the day, threw my skis down and, holy shit core shot. Start looking closer at the ski and what do you know. The heel piece on my pivots is broken.

No pics yet, went straight to the shop. The guy at the asks me how it happened, and I have no fucking clue. Am I really core, or does spring skiing bust everyone else too? Discuss.
 
A core shot doesn't mean your ski is broken. Also it's pretty common to go through a lot of ski poles. I destroy (literally destroy) a pair a season but the best part is that ski poles are so common place that my buddies usually hook me up. You're not core my friend, that rock you hit skiing was core.
 
Oh and the heel piece on your bindings could have broken maybe when you threw your skis down at your car? That's just a shot in the dark but it could have contributed to your problem.
 
how could you not have felt going over a rock that was bad enough to cause a core shot?

you definitely not core; youre a damn retard. most people notice when theyre SKIING OVER ROCKS.
 
i broke a pair of carbon fibers one time when i was doing a pole plant nosebutter 3, and my pole just collapsed. it was really funny
 
It happens, especialy if your not turning and don't hit the edge. But thats not usualy what happens.
 
This big kid on a snowboard (we're talkin' Cartman style) straight up ran into me while I was waiting in line and dragged my pole off my wrist and broke it (pole, not wrist)... I was so stunned and he just rode off and was like, oohhhh, sorry!!

Not a good way to get a girls' attention.
 
haha almost same thing happened to me... some kid who couldnt stop to well came down and i was leaning on my pole and he just choped it right outfrom under me i fell down pole broke and he rode away
 
Same thing happened to me. A buddy (snowboarder, go figure)and I at at stop of some steeps with a few trees. I say "Ill go first, then when I am out of the way, you come down". I get going, make a few turns and slow down...all of a sudden he slams into me, snapping my pole in half. I was like "what the fuck man, what part of wait til im clear dont you understand". Rat bastard.
