ahhhh... you can't say it was the best of the books, they should all be grouped together. Besides, the last movie has some of the 2nd book too. Yes I hope and pray it's as cool as the others with significantly fewer screw ups... I heard 4 hours too, is it really 3:12 maximum? Cause that's annoying, I always wish it was longer, they couldve made each movie 6 hours long.

yah, i think they couldve made each movie twice as long and i still would've happily sat through them all in theaters. i cant wait to see it, but im gonna wait till after the new year to go see it, its gonna be too much of a hassle to try and get tickets for it opening day. but im really looking forward to it, and getting the box set when it comes out

I dont htink so. Peter Jackson said he never liked the part too much in the books, and said that he didn't thik it fit in the movie. I wish they would at least put it on the extended version, but Jackson said they didn't even shoot it...

I'm not seeing the movie opening day, me and some of my friends want to, but we decided to wait a couple days. I can't wait, it's going to kick ass. We're all seeing the extended edition theatrical releases, though. Fellowship in just 2 days!

Oh and I heard RotK was actually at 4 hours long, but wherever I saw that at was probably wrong...

O shit ym friends dad who works for NBC movie department stuff for tickets for the NYC premier which was yesterday (7th) and ym friend got ot go. He says its fuckin incredible the battle seen is the most amazing thing he has ever seen and he loves movies so comin from him thats a big statement
