Ok so i just finished the entire series of lost. Im confused on whether to believe they were dead the entire time or if there was other shit going on cause I just can't make sense of this. Anyone wanna help me out cause its pissing me off like no other thinking that that is how the story ended.
 
I finished the series a while ago so I don't remember a lot, but I think they were supposed to be dead the whole time.
 
How did they manage to make like 7 seasons of this? How much can there be to talk about being stuck on an island

OP, they were in purgatory so yes technically they were dead. The island served as a 'waiting room' where they were judged to go to heaven/hell.
 
The first two seasons of it were really awesome then it declined, until I just quit over how stupid it was getting in season 6.

haha, i just watched it all about 3 weeks ago. They weren't dead the entire time. They were very much alive, the rest of the world thought they were dead because of the plane that was PLANTED at the bottom of the ocean.
