Lost of Interest for NS

I used to always come on this shit and just post my little heart away and now I don't even want to look down the first page of threads. I still love skiing too so I can't explain it really just wondering if it's happened to any other kiddies.
 
This is my first Summer here on NS and Jesus Christ, NSG is terrible. It was a shit show. Can't wait for Winter. This site brings ignites a lot of my hype for skiing.
 
its summer, it happens to all of us. just watch every ski movie you have and winter will come soon
 
i think people just come to depend on ns a lot more in the summer for entertainment being bored with the absence of skiing and all. just don't get your hopes up and go outside or find a cure for cancer.

I've been here for a few years and each year has gotten progressively worse, not in all areas but the forums have degraded to a ton of senseless angst and people trying to prove themselves over the internet. Videos, news, pictures and cults are still going strong though, the kiddies ruin this site and there seems to be more and more coming =/
 
Idono if its that, or your just getting older and being smart enough to notice it now..
 
sometimes the immaturity on NS amazes me but....its summer, and we are all skiers so i let it slide.
 
or school. during the school year i know im on here for like 12 hours out of the day once classes are done (at school i only sleep like 4 hours a night... which is bad.)
 
Yeah I took about a 3 month long break from NS. Couldn't really take all the bullshit anymore. I'm slowly working back into it though. I lurk more than anything.
 
Haha thank you. And why do I need credibility to say that I've lost a lot of interest for this site, I don't give two shits if you agree with me, just because I had a grammar mistake in my title. Thats another thing, people always have to disagree for some stupid ass reason. OMG I spelled a word wrong don't listen to me I'm a fucking retard!!!!!

For everyone else saying it's just the summer, thats not it. I racked up most of my posts two summers ago so summer is normally where NS comes in handy. I basically mean the forums in general I guess, maybe it's because I always used to be on NSG and there's really so much you can talk about so I've probably seen the same threads 10,000 times each. I find myself just looking at pictures and watching videos for the most part, and visiting the Bristol Cult occasionally.

Haven't seen you in a while. I guess this would explain that.
And yeah, the quality can go through some shifts, but you get the occasional mature discussion or the thread that just stokes you out. I still like coming on here all the time, I just sift through the garbage. And I expect much of this is just the new bunches of members on here. Like the members that I remember posting when I was a noob are completely different people than the ones that dominate the forums now. So the community will feel different.
During school I almost never come on here, so in the late spring and early summer I'm on here all the time to get my fix, and in the fall right before snow I'm on here. Then when winter hits it's actual skiing time and time for school/homework, so my interest dies and I check very infrequently. It's like a cycle.
 
I still enjoy loggin on and reading the new news, watching the vids, but as far as posting i'll agree it's not what it used to be. I'm really quite surprised I still spend as much time as i do on NS? I

guess it's just habit now, can't imagine life without it. lol.
