Lost sunday the 3rd at Alpental.

The ski popped off 100 feet into the chute on Breakover and took off down the fall line towards the Armstrong lift house. I filed it with ski patrol and guest services but I figured posting it up couldn't do any harm.
 
Ooh, not a good spot for a ski to come off :( Sorry to hear.

After almost having to part ways with one of my motherships after burying one deep at Crystal last December, I wear leashes on those skis always now, just in case.
 
I will definitely be wearing powder cords on Thursday. I would shoot myself if I lost one of my new Mojo 90s.
 
I'll be on the lookout.

I wonder if you could duct tape a Recco reflector onto your ski, and then if it was lost ask patrol if they could get the gun out and help you find it. That would be tight.
 
those 2 bindings you quoted definitely release, as they should (and sometimes not). p18s release for sure even around 14, which is good.

as for your ski, its loooong buried now probably. good luck finding it in the spring (hell, summer). might want to look into using a metal detector

Yeah I figured I just donated some life-force to the Snow Gods...Even if i do find it the ski is going to be water logged as fuck. Good thing I'm picking up a replacement tomorrow. Note to self: Wear pow leashes or crank din settings.
