Lost all my friends to skiing

So Ive been on break for the past month and was hopping to come home to chillin with all my homies. But naturally with the winter season i need to make the most of my shred time, so im basically out everyday. My friends all shred (they suck but thats ok) we used to shred together all the time even skip school with a carload of bros hittin up the slopes, but apparently those days are over and none of them can get out of bed before 1. WHAT A BUNCH OF LAZY BASTARDS. LIVE life. hanging out and smoking weed is fun but get off your asses and do something FUCK. well thats my rant for today, in an hour when im done babysitting il be back on the chairlift.. alone.. blazin j's and shreddin into the night. I am a lone wolf..
 
i agree with you 100% man.

sometimes friends grow apart. it's hard especially if you've been chill for years. but don't be a dick and try to shove your hobbies down their throats. it sounds like you need new friends who share similar hobbies and views.
 
do what makes you happy man, if your having a better a time on the slopes than hanging with your friends getting high then that's what's up. you'll meet new friends on the mountain. no worries

fuck em. meet them on the mountain. When i used to go to college weekend at whistler, everyone would be too hungover to shred at 9, so i would just go alone, and then meet up with them at noon.

 
In highschool I had a really good friend who was my go to skiing buddy. by the time we finished highschool he didn't ski anymore and was addicted to K.

life goes on.
 
Right after I posted this I realized that it could be interpreted as "yea please post pics of dudes in the nude".. What I meant was to express my excitement over the comment.. maybe "win" would have been better.
 
This, I had to make some new friends while skiing...

Much more fun skiing with people that also put so much time and effort in it.

That made me love skiing so much more.
 
So far this year I've gone skiing 15ish times, I went with someone else twice. I know how ya feel man. My friends aren't really lazy, just none of the small amount of friends that I have ski or snowboard.

I'm pretty much losing friends to skiing too though. Hangout with friends and not ski or ski by myself?

Call me a dick, but I'd rather ski.

I don't know why but I can't give it up for anything. I just love it too much.
 
ive learned this the hard way. Fuck winter sports (basketball and swimming and such).

I wish man. All my bros just fucking smoke weed and drink till super late and then the lazy fucks don't want to do anything at 7 or 8 in the morning when we got fresh snow..
 
I like shredding alone to be honest. You can lap the park with out waiting for anyone. I can push myself to try new things alone pretty well and you have the drive to meet new kids there. Like stomping a heavy trick then some kid follows with another sick trick and you both are like yo that was dope then you ride up the lift together share a J make a new friend.
or like one other person is sick too just a homie splitting blunts all day shredding vibing off one anothers riding.

 
my good friends used to go to the mountain a lot more. there were two of my friends who i didn't talk to as much who go to the hill just as much as i still do. they have become my closer friends, at least anytime we all want to ski, despite an age difference that is not present within my other circle of friends.
 
I'm in the same boat. chair lift..alone...always lawl.

A trip I took last week, I always got up at 9 to get to the slopes first, and my friend would get up at like 11 or 12 and only ski till like 3. Pissed me off.

shit, I'd shred with you.
 
riding trees you don't need a friend, but in the park having other people ride with you makes it a lot more fun, but i dont have anyone to ride with..
 
lol, that probly woulda been the easy way to go.

but my poorly made point was that, tree riding is where you actually do need a friend. tree wells are super dangerous, and fucking yourself up in trees when no one is around would be an awful experience. in the park you got a ton of kids around to help you if shit goes wrong

i just ride with my skier/snowboarder friends during the day or on weeknights and hang out with my other friends the rest of the nights.

make some friends who like to ski as much as you.
 
i find it so amazing that you can do that in any language other than your first. mike-o, too legit.
 
weren't real friends, go hang out with some people that do the same shit as you and you will have a blast. seriously meet some ppl on the mountain or something
