While I was skiing the other day I lost one of the rivets on my PEs, will K2 warrenty them or am I just wasting my time?

i was looking to buy a pair of PE's does that happen easily or what? does it effect the performance if one pops out?

I've seen the rivets gone on pistols and PEs. Doesn't seem to affect the durability from what those people said.

this is a joke right?

sometimes when im running water to wash dishes or something, i think about how lucky i am to have such simple access to running water and how some people will never know such a simple pleasure.

then i let it run for awhile, just because i can.

better be. rivets are what hold your skis together. if you get one off K2 will warrantee it. and no that doesn't happen easily.

the rivets are there to prevent the tips and tails from delaminating. so yeah, it'll be covered under warrenty so just send it back

Do they send you new skis or do they just place new rivets in the ski? B/C if that is the case, I wouldn't be worth the hassle of sending the skis in until they delammed.

i wrote an email to k2 to find out and here is their reply

Yes. We will try to repair, if possible, if not we will replace. You will need

to take them back to any K2 ski dealer and they will call us for an

authorization #.

Sincerely,

K2 Skis Customer Service

K2 is the best company I have ever dealt with for warranty issues, also the PE is the most bomb/rail/abuse proof ski I have ever come in contact with.

you pay to send it there then they send it back free
