Losing my lovely locks

What's up NS, I've had long hair for as long as I can remember but I would get it trimmed in the spring/summer then grow it out in the winter. This year I decided I would grow my hair out to donate to a local wig making charity that creates wigs for people who have lost hair from cancer treatment and alopecia because, I mean, I grow my hair to that length every year anyway so why not do something productive with it?

I'm shaving my head tomorrow and will return with before and after pics for the amusement of you guys, I'm pretty stoked to go completely bald for the summer anyway.

I have a Canadian Cancer Society donations page that isn't quite finished if any of you are interested in donating that I will post when I finish it up, for now:

Cool moves OP. I'm actually building up my flow over the summer. Maybe I'll donate it when the time comes.

And good song choice.

And great sig, always on the Dilla!

One word of advice, buy 2 or 3 hats that you love as an excuse to wear to keep the hair out your face. The length gets super irritating during the last 3 months or so but hey, bear through it people could use it!

am i the only one who hates this word/expression? 'flow' doesnt necessarily look bad, in fact it can look quite cool most of the time, but the phrase just makes it sound so fucking greasy

I would never have long hair over the summer, just doesn't sound worth it for how uncomfortable it would be

That's one of the personal reasons I'm shaving it off tomorrow. Last summer wasn't bad when I first started growing it out but at the length it is now would be brutal.

I was going to donate mine when I cut it short but ended up getting a mullet from a friend while drunk and hair went to waste.

Actually starting to get decent length again. Had it below shoulder length for a while. I think if it get's to the minimum length for locks 4 love I might cop it again and send it out this time.

Alright it's been a while, I've been busy but here is a before and after picture spliced into one:

Originally I was going to send my hair there but I read up on their scandals. Plus I'd like to support the companies in my area rather than shipping my hair to Florida.

Why does the naturally born loser option have a question mark at the end of it? It's obvious you are.

Fucking internet. I was gonna put at the end of that, jk OP what you're doing is for a good cause. I know how it feels to lose your long hair. It's almost as if a little part of your soul is torn off.

Haha, well I feel more relieved having it off, I've had long hair for the majority of my life it's time for a change.

It gets to the point where it becomes a hassle and it's not even ejoyable anymore. It takes forever to wash and just gets greasy as fuck. I always grow mine for ski season but cut it at the beginning of the summer so it's more refreshing and cooler when it gets hot out.

Yeah dude that's what I do but I figured since I grow it to ridiculous lengths ever year I might as well do something useful with the hair.
