Wow, this as a pretty damn good movie. not your average war movie at all. I question how much of it was very accurate at all though (the end of the movie, it says it was based off a ture story).

I especially likes the scene where the Liberian Dictator was reading the US newspaper saying "Liberian Elections Rigged" and he goes into how hypocrytical we are and brings up the 2000 elections and Florida and so on...

yeah dude yuri is a real guy. its pretty crazy stuff. i read a book about him. they toned down the movie from some of the real shit in the book, but over all pretty damn true. what a crazy life that mother fucker had.

it looks pretty good, except nicolas cage is in it... i thought he was done with movies after his terrible movie of matchstick men. his only good movie was face off and gone in 60 seconds

i saw it last night.. it was pretty good. it wasn't one that i would have personally wanted to see, i went with my dad and he wanted to see it. i don't like nicholas cage, in every movie i've seen with him in it he seems weird.

I thought the Rock was pretty cool. But Sean Connery is responsible for most of that...and that fine ass bitch, what's her name, the darked haired one...anyways, yeah.

nic cage is great, matchstick men was so underratted- although all the credit there cannot only go to him - sam rockwell (which is a sick name by the way) held up his part of the bargain there.

lord of war- great- good way of presenting the dirty truth about international arms dealing and government sponsorship of said activity to the public. whats the name of the book- i'd like to read it?

Lord of War suprised me. Not what I expected. The story and idea of it were cool but it ended up feeling a bit long and slow.
