ya i would come but i wont have my licence until march.17 so i cant drive out there but i am plannin on driving march 18 to cypress for there comp and thne march 19 for whistlers slopestyle
 
Take a greyhound then. Or get a ride from someone. There's really no excuse not to show.
 
haha i will think bout it, umm well thats also a reason for people to come to mt.washingtons slopestyle which is in 2 weeks, thats gonan be off the hook course.
 
maybe we should organize a bus to take everyone from vancouver out there that morning. Or rent one of those 15 passenger vans or something? Who would be interested?

that van is a good idea. i was thinking of taking my dads 9 passenger van. but that would exceed my legal limit by 7 and its not my vehicle .....sooooooo....
 
u need to set up a long down rail wit a urban style jump up to, like a jump below the rail, and the rail needs to have snow stairs beside it, so peeps can lipslide and shit, and a long up rail would be sick too, and sumtin set up low too so peeps cna spin on and shit, rainbow rail too
 
I will attend if someone can drive me. and if I can find some way to be at the abbotsford airport for an 8pm flight afterwards.

dotn know wat will be better though cuase cypress is having a comp the same day too, i think its a slopestyle
 
and i was just thinkin today that if keeps snowing like this i'm gonna be spendin all my time doin big mountain instead of being in the park (my motto is "never do park on a powder day"), and i haven't relearned rails yet, so don't expect much from me come feb 25th unless it stops snowing haha.
 
i hear you mike. ygo is going to be a joke for me. maybe a dozen days in the park. but it will still be fun. as will lotp be for you.

all i can say about cypress is....its cypress.

and jsut too make sure. it is a saturday, not a wednesday
 
hey brian are u still looking for another sponsor? try rossi, i know that they sponsored a little comp up at manning a few years back, as did pepsi (but maybe that's cause pepsi was very involved with manning in terms of cafeteria and whatnot). just an idea....

oh, and it's supposed to stop snowing as of monday, so i should have 2-3 days total in the park (that's all season, becauase 1. it's been snowing like hell and 2. i have school) come saturday the 25th. park should be almost fully up by this weekend i imagine (if it isn't already).
 
also try oakley cause park crew wat mt wash were tellin me that there interested in holding a oakley rail jame next year at our hill
 
Cypress is having a rail jam on the Sunday, we should get people up there to make it actually worth it.

update? ok, the park is beautiful, but at least two of the 3 jumps (the two bigger ones) in the final set will be reshaped (mostly because of current speed issues i think) before the competition. right now near the top of the park manning has a down box, battleship rail, and a flat down box. this will also be changed before the competition takes place. i think that they might move the battleship box to the top and/or another rail.

brian, correct me if i'm wrong.
 
so i just downloaded and watched Out Cold cause... i have nothing better to do with my time... or, i choose to do nothing better with it... but Brian, that must have been a proud acheivement for your people.
 
im sorry nicole but i must disagree. the panel of pseudo ski drunken fun winter movie experts (me, myself, and I) have rated it as the best pseudo ski drunken fun winter movie since Hot Dog. Well we are deliberating whether it beat Aspen Extreme or not, but it did have the million dollar man, a pornstar, and Devun Walsh in it.

But the aforementioned MXP was a threat to Aspen Extreme's dominance of the "hollywood does snowsports" movie genre. A worthy competitor, but its use of a lowly primate eventually brings it down to the level of B-movie. Besides, it's not funny to stick monkeys into the uber cold conditions of Mt. Seymour. They're used to the jungle. PETA would call that animal abuse.

Out Cold, featuring such stars as Devun (I killed it in True Life and the Resistance, but not in that order) Walsh, AJ Cook (she's "Jenny", hot, and completely unknown), Victoria Silvstedt, as well as Jason London (Who?) and Willie Garson, was good, but not great. It deserves a spot higher up on the list than "dead last", but really, it's not great.

To make up for this post, here is a photo of Ali Larter and A.J. Cook. This has nothing to do with anything, as it was taken on the set of "Final Destination 2", which we all know was a shitty sequel for a shitty movie known as "Final Destination"
