ive read it. for skool of course. umm. i cant tell you if i liked it or not.. i dont really remember... but i think i did.

 
i've read it. it was a pretty interesting read, but i personally disagree with the whole premise of the story. the author kinda based it on his idea that people are inherently evil, and that without a civilized society to answer to, that we would be totally corrupt and immoral. my thoughts have always been that natural human cravings are the reason that society is civilized and that those same cravings would lead people in that situation to try to retain some type of goodness and moral integrity, but that's just my opinion.

the book is the best ever, i read it like 80 times it ws so good... just kidding. actually it wasnt thaqt bad, but then we anilyzed it for like 2 weeks in english class, so by that time it really sucked

my school tried to make into a religious alegory but I didn't see it, I saw it more as a social critizism. Great book though

i read it about 4 years ago in grade 10, thought it was a cool book. i really really enjoyed it. i thought the end was funny when all the kids were just sitting crying, and the guys that picked them up were all pissed cause the "English do it best"

I read it for school, i woulda like it had the teacher not try to make everything into a symbolic thing with meaning. LIke if ou just take it for a literal story its pretty good, and its funny cuz all the bs my teacher said, the author probably only meant about 1/10 of it
