if they pulled the wrong teeth?

didnt put me under the right way and i felt it the whole time?

thats about what i'm planning.

Vicodin here i come!

just as long as i'm good by tuesday. cuz i have to fly back to CA that day..

WOW. I am actually getting my 4 out tomorrow morning as WELL. lower 2 are impacted, just getting laffin gas. not stoked. 9:30 appointment. can't fall asleep due to not smoking. not looking forwards to this shit at all.

I was going to say if you tripped and fell down the stairs on the way out of your house because you were so nervous. Then while you were falling you banged your face on the stairs and ripped your wisdom teeth out halfway causing severe bleeding and you bled out at the base of your stair set while your mom called the ambulance.

I guess your's works to though.

gettin mine done in a couple weeks. My biggest fear is not being put under and feeling the whole thing. Can you take tylenols before hand?

GOT MINE OUT YESTERDAY AND IT FUCKING SUCKED FOR THE FIRST COUPLE HOURS WHEN I GOT HOME. LUCKILY I GOT A TON OF OXYS SO I HAVE JUST BEEN CHILLING ON MY COUCH HALF ASLEEP ALL DAY. ONLY THING THAT SUCKS NOW IS NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT MUCH. I HAVE BEEN EATING CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP AND SCRAMBLED EGGS MOSTLY.

ALL 4 OF MINE WERE IMPACTED AND THE BOTTOM TWO WERE PERPENDICULAR TO THE TOOTH IN FRONT OF THEM. TOP ONES FEEL FINE BUT MY JAW FEELS SHITTY.

GOOD LUCK MAN THE WORST PART IS PROBABLY WAITING FOR THE OPERATION TO START

I blacked out from my surgery. I remember looking at the heart rate monitor watching it slowly go down and my next solid memory is "fuck, I'm out of ice cream"

i have the exact same problem, luckily i can postpone getting them pulled till i finish the school year.

my dentist said that they also need to remove the top wisdom teeth because, without the corresponding tooth on the bottom, they have no functionality and as they are crammed way in the back they are kinda hard to reach while flossing/brushing so keeping them would most likely result in cavities or other unwanted bullshit.

yeah i remember the doctor telling me to think of something good to dream about when i'm out and then i remember waking up on a bed in another room.

feels like it took 10 minutes but it was really like 3 hours

but my stitches didnt burst even tho it was like the 2nd day. they alsohad to go diggin for mine too. oh and throughout the whole surgery i heard this one nurse talking which freaked me out and saw checked pattern that was green n blue. yop is good too

I actually just got mine out yesterday. really it's not too bad except just waking up with the gauze in your mouth and the first 4is hours where your lip and tongue are kinda numb. the rest is enjoying your time on pain meds so far and rinsing out your mouth with saltwater.

dangggg... that sucks.

i've been put under before for knee surgery and didnt have any crazy affects happen.

Got mine out 3 weeks ago. Dont listen to everyone, its not bad at all. Best advice I can give you is ice your face like a mother fucker. I barely took ice off my face the day I got it done and my face didnt swell at all. I got very lucky but it really wasnt a big deal. Also, mashed potatoes are your new best friend.

just got back- how long til i can swallow vics with water? and what NOT to do besides the obvious (activity, smoking, straws, etc)?

I'm a wimp with some tolerance to whatever doctors give you to knock you out. I was getting a scoping of my esophagus and I woke up halfway through it with a god damned camera down my throat. Needless to say, it was fucking scary, and it took 4 doctors and some crazy shot of something to get me down.

Since then, I've requested just a a little more sedation so that it didn't happen again, and I asked for it for my wisdom tooth extraction. The ride to the doctors was scary, but I was given a good bit of valium before the procedure and it made me feel at ease. If you're worried, and they don't offer you this stuff, I'd suggest asking for it because it makes the operation go much easier. They knocked me out with something else once I was in the chair, and I woke up 5 hours later in my bed at home feeling content.

My friend said he was awake through his, but he was on something that made him not give a fuck. I don't think I could handle them smashing my teeth up while I'm chilling there, you know?

This is what I had. I had an IV going into my arm pumping me with some shit so I really didnt know what was going on. They also froze my mouth. Again, don't think of it as a big deal. No matter what method your surgeon uses, you won't feel pain. They do like 5 of these operations a day, they are damn good at it by now.

TOOK ME A COUPLE HOURS BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO SWALLOW MY PAIN MEDICATION. REMEMBER NOT TO EAT/DRINK ANYTHING HOT FOR THE FIRST 24HRS, ICE YOUR CHEEKS LIKE CRAZY (I AM CURRENTLY REGRETTING NOT ICING ENOUGH) AND TOMORROW START RINSING THE EXTRACTION SITE WITH HOT WATER AND SALT.
