Looper

I'll concede the TK toddler was a bit out there and somewhat threw a wrench in a somewhat concise sci-fi film, but I like that they tried for something different.

I really enjoyed it. Not so much so the plot but I loved how the future was portrayed. None of the technology was super advanced and over dramatic like how we all think its going to be. I think that made it much more surreal.

its so weird yet so satisfyingly mind tingling. the entire way they go about resenting the concept and story is so well done, i would say this and 12 monkeys are the top 2 movies to watch mentioned in this thread

What does closing the loop mean? Why does a Looper have to be killed and be killed by himself?

I was stoned when I watched it and didn't really pick up on much.

I thought it was really good. it really made you think and I was surprised that his older self became the bad guy. very good

when he kills himself he stops the rainmaker, thus stopping his older self from coming back and in turn leaving him alive because he wasn't told to end his loop...... fuck i love time travel movies for this reason
