Loop Rail

put this on snow

thats a waste of metal. that could be a sick rail,,,, that doesn't equal death

kinda looks like a mini rollercoaster... like one you would trap a squirrel on and have a very entertaining afternoon.

Wouldn't the beginning and end of the loop have to be far enough away so that your ski tips don't catch the other part of the rail you aren't sliding?

i think if someone could make it like super legit set up there has to be someone in the ski would who would try it, but who?

why is it dumb? he didn't say it should be a everyday common rail. he just said put it on snow. someone would try it and i bet after a few trys they would get it. WILSON?

it seems like if you didnt get it you would smash your face and even if you could do it it would be impressive the first time but after that you wouldnt be able to do any variations.

hahahaha wow you guys talk about progression then wen you see something progressive you talk shit about it, at first you guys see doubles and you hate them and say how there aerialist and such, and now almost every one loves them and thinks there the best shit since non rear entry boots, and now its hate on triple, same shit here, sure this rail is maybe not perfect for actually sliding, but from this angle the distance could be good, you can't tell, but all y'all are hypocritical for saying shit about this, look at the same situation in the past and how it turned out in th present

if you're planning on saying shit, think about how y'all said tens and twelves couldn't look steezy

so if your gonna say shit your wrong cause same shit happened in the past, " no one can make a double look good "HA every pro can now, y'all just hate new shit, you guys just love to hate...... , and i know your gonna hate on me cause i say it like it is, and i only have 3 posts, but seriously its a persons opinion which has no post count so all the fags who say you have no posts and shit can just fuck off

and ya 90 % of you are retarded

what would be sweet and less lethal are halfpipe rails or however you call em, you slide vertically up, you stall and then you slide back down, this could maybe be a sweet alternative to wallrides at the end of the park...
or some sweet rollercoaster rails, Flat->downcurve->vertical down->up curve-> flat->out
.just ideas, still pretty lethal when compared to regular rails

Doesn't it look like they are turning it into a box? like maybe an 8-10"....I'd definitely do it head on if it was a box....I've always wanted to do one....even if you're sideways on that it'd just be like a cartwheel...that hardest part I think would be not sliding out on that first transition...

This is a post I made on the Traveling Circus Facebook page:

Andy,

you guys are amazing. On that note, I want to see an inverted loop

rail, or a rail that is like a corkscrew that circles around and comes

back under itself. Break out a mig welder and get busy on that will ya?

IMO the best way to get it going would be to make the bottom of the loop out of snow, and then make the top an HDPE box. I would make the first one wide, and then have others that were skinnier, until you get comfortable with the whole thing. Then you could make it metal.

No ski area is going to add one of these to a park. The consequences of not having enough speed are too severe. If you stall at the peak of the loop like a skateboarder did in the X Games a while back. You just free fall head first onto the flat.

thats like saying itd be progressive to fuck a dude while sliding rails.

just because nobodys ever done it doesnt mean anyone should.

You talk like you can actually hit this thing up. Back your shit up! And progression doesn't really happen when your dead due to a loop rail.
