waterville tables are bigger but i think loon has more "jib options".. but wv has the poma and some neato children so i choose waterville

no way, it changes from year to year, last wv was better but this year loon was better and im predicting loon to be better next year, they have some sick guys on their park crew, and loon usually seems alot better in the spring

loon's jumps are mostly quite horrible, the only good one was the last one...granted, wv only had two, but quality over quantity, eh?

loon did have a lot of fun rails, but some of the set ups were sketch, i prefer wv really

sunapee has a pretty nice park and its really close to me, plus its less crowded then loon

loon's pipe sucks 99% of the year except on nice spring days. Their jumps suck except for that last one jeff was talking about. The rails are pretty sick.

Wv's pipe is dope almost all of the time. Jumps are sick almost all the time. Rails are sick also.

yeah man, i've only been to WV once and liked it alot, w/ the park tow and such, but loon is just way sweeter, the park staff is very dedicated to their job, if they had a zaugg pipe groomer it would be super tits, other than that, its perfect

Loons park is so much longer than Watervilles which I like but Waterville has the Poma right next to it which is also sweet.

i really only went to loon twice last year and i wasnt impressed that much but WV's staircase and their 65 footer (i think i dont remember what actual size was) was nasty

i ski at sunapee all the time, their park SUCKS.... and as far as dub v and loon is concerned id say dub V has much nicer jumps and is all around more fun

well on the weekends both can be rediculous....with lots of little shits and stupid old people skiing thru. We try to regulate at WV as much as posible....loon probably would have a more difficult time regulating because of the numbers they get there on weekends. So WV is better for crowd controll....

 
jw bc im heading up for winter vacation and wanted to get the most out of my 2 weeks and which park has more technical features

 
it never really was a consistent 65 footer.....but if you want consistancy then WV is it.....park looks and skis awesome in the morning and then once the academy kids get up there in the afternoon the place goes off.

 
but which jump are you talking about, i always thought their jumps were alot below 65

the first hit that you had to go thru the mini pipe at the top of the park to get speed.....at first it was around a 65 footer but then the knolls began to roll alittle bit more and more as they groomed the landings turning it into a smaller jump

 
and it gets sooooo crowded, i havent been in yeras either

watervill during the winter but in spring loon kicks cause it is always in shadow so their snow melts slower. when waterville has stoped grooming their park, loon is going off. but waterville much better for most of the season.

 
and loons park seems to attract a shit load of joeys who like to rest on the top of landings and stuff, they regulate that much better at waterville

 
WV owns, but needs to have jib options mixed in with jumps... the segregation made me angry but i still loved it.

oh and to top that shit off, an elephant ran over my dad that was awkward-bhill
 
i went to loon martin luther king day, the busiest day of the year, and their park wasn't open!!! On sunday afternoon they finnaly openned the park.

I dont know about you but that really pisses me off.

 
This is how i break it down usually, waterville has better jumps, and more challenging park terrain...where as loon is more fun to ride if you dont feel like hitting park. and the 65 footer was last year after the two smallest jumps, you had to go between the channel to hit it, if you look at the park gallery on wvs website it still has a picture up and its the biggest jump you can see in the picture, i think it was prob more like 55-60 feet though. either way watervilles park is almost always groomed better with bigger jumps and better kids riding on any given day
