Loon vs watervill

your silly, and dub v definitley takes the cake. Although its not as large as loon, vibe is sick, poma is SICK (lift for park runs, goes up the park) and there are some amazing kids skiing there. It also brought up some ill skiers
 
loon has a larger, better park, but waterville has the superfast lap time, both are better than most if not all other east coast parks
 
theyre completely different, and on purpose too i think. both of the parks are set up by the same people, maintained by people who are friends w each other, and ridden by the same people... more or less. loon is a flow park, its longer so you can get a nice flow run going on. wv is like a skatepark, tons of features all slammed into one small area. depending on how you feel on a certain day either could be better. i personally like loon earlier season and wv later season because it never gets as cold at loon. WV is like a proving ground though, if you can kill everything at wv, youre all set.
 
Couldn't agree more...the main feature to me that is better about dub V is that it has the pulley for basically jsut the park riders...on the other hand, dub V also takes in ALOT and i mean ALOT of obstacles such as noobs who shouldnt be in exibition...but rather the little slammer park, along with noobs who jsut feel dandy on jollying their little behinds down exibition as a nice slope...loons a bigger mountain..can definately build up more flow at loon...
 
yeah i mean im sure it does but for one thing, i dont get cold very easily, except my hands. and i just happen to have never had a cold day in these two places. for some reason the 5 times ive been to okemo have been frigid
 
It really does get colder at dub v because it is in a valley. And a little more wind. They are both good.
 
i like WV more but loon is still sick. They seem to have a tight set up in the spring with the eastern boarders last call nad everything. The few times ive been to loon it was freezing and icy though, i hope to get a good day there this winter
 
I went to loon at the end of last season (after the big butter box got turned into the jump) and i thought that park was sooo dank, could be personal prefrence but with the rails all at the begging of the park then leading into a few big booters flowed so nice
 
i hit up both last season, and had a great time at both... but i'd have to go with loon as my favorite. this was near the end of the season however, march i think it was. and being that late in the season loon took the cake, both were sick though, hit up both...
 
wv is dope, you lap all day on the rope toe and hit a couple dope jumps and rails, but its freezing, loon is more fun to lap the bigger park, its not as cold, and has some dope rails and jumps, wallride and pipe, but idk if your going for a day i say WV but a long time i say loon
 
thats the thing too... if you wanted to you could leave loon at 12 and go down to wv for the second half of the day... theyre so close it doesnt matter where you go. go for 2 days and thrashem both.
 
Both good parks, but I say waterville. Its got the poma pretty much specifically for park.
 
the thing thats sick about wv is you can really work on tricks cause you get soooo many runs through the park. loon is super fun too with good flow and a longer park.. but you don't get nearrrly as many laps in..
 
yeah well i am shure wachusetts is sick and so is mamouth and vail and wistler and alot of mnts but i was asking about loon and watervill not any others so u dont have to tell me how sck ur mint is i was asking about loon and watervill

there are a bunch of good mnts there and i am not goin to put the on thereds about other mnts so calm down and talk bout the thread not ur mnt
