Loon or Waterville?

I'm going to PSU next year and I know that they get a deal at Cannon but I want a pass to mountain with a better park. So the question is Loon or Waterville. I've taken a bunch of vacations to Loon and love it but I'm wondering if Waterville is any better. +k for help and good answers

in my opinion... waterville's park has always been super sick, but loon is a much bigger and better mountain and obv has a really nice park too (set up differently)so i guess it depends what your preferences are

arent they the same pass though? haha last time i checked they were but then that was like 8 years ago...

Cannon: sick backcountry terrain, no crowds with decent park

but i guess if you only want to ski park go Loon thats where most of the PSU guys shred and the park is sick. Waterville seems closer off the highway but its the same if not further away than Loon. Also you avoid the academy kids and coaches that get pissed if you ski down the landing the wrong way at Waterville.

thanks. through the school we get a deal for cannon so ill be going there too

Loon is a better mountain with a better park, but waterville is so much nicer. Loon is always super crowded and you get 5 runs a day because of the lines. The base is massive, which I hate, and its super expensive. I ski at Cannon, so I obviously hate loon, but I'd go with waterville

Waterville has an exclusive lift for their park and if you only ski park, you can get the Poma pass, which is like $100 and just gives you park access which is way less so if with that, you might be able to swing both mountains.

waterville for sure. alot more skiers are there then loon and during january and febuary the only wayto ski the whole park ( LMP ) is by the gondola which takes like 45 min to get onto. Also there is alot of assholes there from like NY and and ct and shit. Waterville maybe a bit smaller but they have a poma on the side of the park so you can lap a shit ton.

loons park is pretty sick but the crowds get ridiculous and its a lot more expensive. im a junior, but plymouth is my favorite school ive checked out so far, and if i went there im thinking id do poma pass to dub v and use the $7 psu tickets at cannon.

Loons park is generally tailored to snowboarders, and it may be longer than dub v, wv's park is superior even though I find myself at loon more often than wv. poma is definately a plus as well, somehow lapping gondola at loon feels awesome on a nice spring day cracking some pbr's

Loon has a really good selection of park features every year, very consistent, and its and all around best mountain deal for your money it goes Loon, Sunday River, Sugarloaf for 350$ while Watervile, Cannon, Breton Woods and Attitash are 300$ don't be fooled though because we vote Cannon for the $7.50 ticket mountain every year, which is great because it has the sickest back-country, good ol Mittersil. Up to you but as a seasoned vet I would go with Loon. That way you get the best of both worlds.

I think Waterville is starting to pull away in the park game but like everyone has said, Loon's parks are still dope and the mountain is nice.

Waterville is a park lappin' paradise with the Poma lift

Loon has a pretty sick park too, but you'll be lappin the gondy

Just go down Taft Slalom, hike up the back of Mittersil and vua-la, an endless world of un-groomed happy snowflakes, steep ass tree runs and some banger cliffs.
