Loon jumps

I know not the sizes, but the last hit is orgasmic. I hit the lip and I..........jizzed in my pants. I stomp the landing and I........you guessed it. wide lip. Its got a wide takeoff and super huge, steep landing. Anyway, I'd guess them to be 40, 45, 45 ft.

Yeah I hit them last weekend. They are really sick as always but really close together...as always. I would have said 35, 40, 45. but you can take the second one deep and the third one really deep if you have the balls to keep the speed.

With them being so close you come off the second and go down into the gully with tons of negative g's and them the third lip comes and you go off into positive g's. Such a cool feeling. I am probably over analyzing it but is there anything more fun than catching air?

i was there last sunday the size are dissapointinggg but theyre still really fun. the lips are soo wide..

Definately way too small and way too mellow...extremely disappointing compared to last year. Loon has been slacking all year for the most part with their jumps and it's really starting to show now. They need to fix something or they aren't going to be anywhere near best park in the east. It's still fun though

^ There's clearly no comparison to a park like mount snow's. But other than there being no speed for the first two hits, they had a good set-up. I loved how you could hit the last jump with as much speed as you could carry and the landing would still be super smooth. The double street rail set ups offered alot of variety, and the flat down at the bottom was perfect for disastering. I enjoyed my trip.

I miss that :( but the jumps are still better than nothing, remember when Loon Management said no more snow for the big park?

This is exactly what makes that jump line pretty damn dangerous as well...how do you know if the person who dropped before you didn't eat shit?
For reference as well...the 3rd jump in that line is now extremely poppy as of today and I completely over shot that "super long landing". Took it about 50 feet past the knuckle on my first hit...

Heh...remember that 65 footer they used to construct before they had serious jump lines (this is like 3-4+ years ago). I once shorted that bad boy after riding through a mess of slush at the base of the takeoff. Fuckin' bindings snapped, and those shitting plastic caps on the old 1080's blew off somewhere into the woods.

Talk about gettin' your socks knocked off...closest I've ever come to getting carted off the mountain.
