Does any one agree with me that loon is gay and should not of closed today? i mean there getting dumped on and are still fully open that shits weak

there is way too much snow for them to close, theres no reason for it. not only is the park sick, theres a ton of snow all over the mtn, even after todays....weather

i'll agree that they COULD certainly stay open, and sure it would be sick if they did... but they're still running a business and if they aren't making bank they have no reason to stay open, the crowds don't show, they don't make money, they close... shitty but that's business

same with mt snow!

but its only season passholders that are going so they arnt making any bank

and they struggled to find lifties n shit

ps...check the "lol" at the end of my post, maybe your not up to date on internet sarcasm.

"There are three big reasons why we’re extending Stowe’s season," exclaimed Michael Colbourn, VP of Marketing and Sales. "We have a lot of snow, thousands of pass-holders and we’re in the ski & ride business, so let’s keep skiing & riding." Colbourn explained.

lets fire loons and hire this guy, hes not a fuckign retard

lol means jk since you became captain of the faggets! hooray for you! get this boy a cookie!

i drove by there today on my trip to killy which turned into a trip to okemo. it was raining badass. it was snow up towards the top. i was thinking about stopping and hiking but it was 6am and i didn't know if the people there were goign to be gay and try to have me arrested for criminal trespassing.

It totally sucks that they closed, but holy shit I had no idea they were actually doing that expansion. THATS SICK!!!! i just bought a threedom pass this past weekend for $192 and i'm soo amped right now.

so far i see stowe being the mtn that will stay open the longest... on their site it says the closing date is april 29.. which is a sunday

maybe killy will step it up and stay open until may

Loon is closed because of their insurance policy. That's why mountains close at a certain point of the year regardless of the weather.

For some mountains it is, but I'm not sure about others. Their insurance policy runs out for the season and it would be a big risk to run past that date.

im pretty sure Loon provides the best user experiance in NH and possibly all of the east (if you consider location, natural and man made terrain, crowds, and cost).

im sure you really dont think that "Loon is gay". it's pretty fucking awesome.

im pretty sure the only reason he said that was because they are closing even though they have tons of snow. dont think about it so hard
