Loon expansion

just been to loon, i see theyve redone the park and amped it up a little...i remember hearing about them expanding loon ever since like 1995..anyone hear anything about this expansion and what will happen?

alright, from what i understand, this is whats happening:

they're been trying to expand for the longest time, but some guy from NY (i think) held them back with land conservation or something. only semi-recently did they get the permission to build the expansion.

this is what i've heard, so, if i'm wrong, please do correct this.
