plus the halfpipe is open

over the weekend and monday it was really soft spring snow and wicked fun!! but i bet it will be harder snow now that the temps are colder again.

bottom section of park looks like a 3 jump line. with rails down the right side of the jump line. bottom rails and stairset looks to be able to open soon!

i hope for snow. soon. and snowmaking is starting again and the park crew is killing it right now.

damn you guessed right, today the snow was rock hard.

none the less I still love springboard and the first section of LMP.

..I didnt even bother lapping all of LMP cause springboard was too much fun.

airbag is mad fun, so worth it. buy the pass and hike a bit also you can lap LMP and the bag and throw the tricks you through on the bag in the same run as LMP on snow jumps.

very fun.

Like what is it? Or what is the deal on it. You pay 15 bucks and sesh it 10-2PM which is pretty good.

It's a good airbag too. Helpful for learning/practicing switch flips/corks you can't really throw on anything except an air bag or snow.

Yeah I meant price and shit. I used the airbag at Okemo last year but it was 5 bucks a run so for 15 you only got 3 hits. Loons doing it right. Im fucking stoked.

its steep and kicky. pretty wide, wide enough for cork 5s and such to carve. You get a good amount of airtime. A kid almost got dub backs on it.

It's a great price for sure, I'd recommend it for sure. The bag is soft and easy enough to hit, regardless of previous airbag experience. It's actually softer/better than any other one I've hit.

Also I went tramping at WVA (waterville Academy thing) in Campton for maybe the 4th? time. It's a nice Olympic trampoline in a barn stable with some rails set up outside with drop in and some outdoor tramps in summer. You can pay for a coached session or (if you're lucky) get in on a lil trampoline sesh. keep this on the down low and don't go and be disrespectful because I don't want ti ruined. They also have the WVBBTS airbag with snowflex and stuff.

PM me for info on either.

I also know the park set ups.

Ill be back up in NH weekend after MLK (I'm at SR this weekend.) Maybe I can ride with someone on the bag or something.

Went late this fall to the inn. The dry ramps pretty sweet and that whole indoor tramp setup is fucking sick. You feel real classy trampin with all the nice woodwork around you haha.

I was lucky enough to hit the dry ramp and indoor tramp this fall. So fucking dope, those waterville academy kids have it made.

In regards to the park, I'd give Springboard 9/10, so fucking fun both rails and jumps. LMP is like a 6 maybe 7/10, half of it still isnt done and what they have set-up is cool but not very good for learning tricks. Overall Loon is killing it between their parks and the airbag, if you have any doubts I hope this post helps snuff them out, go to Loon and you won't be disappointed.

Very true, I was reluctant to post it, but I thought I'd hook you guys up. Hahaha.

Enjoy. Just don't do anything dumb and overstay your welcome so to speak.

the only thing i heard was that the last jump at the bottom of LMP is money. i guess its like 50-55 feet and its pretty damn good, not sure whether thats true or not, havent seen it yet.

Season passes depend on your age/if you're in College. Also depends on what kind you want, I suggest looking on the Loon website.

If you get a pass early (like August) you can save a good hundred to two hundred bucks.

The pass also is valid at Sugar loaf in Maine and Sunday River. (I got mine primarily for Sunday River)

i'll be at loon this sunday for a day trip. think i heard somewhere springboard is gonna be closed for an event or something? is this true? kind of a bummer someone fill me in

yeah springboards closed for the weekend. but park crew mentioned that they will try to open it once the comps over on sunday. so hopefully it'll open up fairly early.

I'll be shreddin' and partaking in shinanigans sunday too.

there are day passes if thats what your looking for.... but for season passes its those 3 options or the college pass if your in college... i think it starts at 359 but later in the season is like 419 i think

PARK ALERT!!!

ITS WICKED FUN!

alright so everything is the same except the upbox and cannon rail are out and a new wood like bonk feature is up

the bottom of the park goes like this

35 foot step up or a down donkey rail

45 step down

55 step down or double barrel dfd rail

bottom rails are

dfd left elbow ish kink rail or a down creeper type ledge.

then the only thing at the bottom is the high cascade rail

no stairset yet =/

but its super fun!

Ill b there Fri. Also, info for anybody thinking like i do, The roller gap at the bottom on the skiers left, like the 60 foot gap takes a ton more speed then you think. I hit it today as a hip, tucking in from the top of the knuckle on the 3rd big jump, and only made it half way on the second roller. I think to make the gap str8 over you are going to need to land the 3rd jump then go str8 into it.

Best of luck, and get dat shit on film.

... i want to do this now..

park was closed today cuz of ice and fog. i was up and it sucked

but this weekend will be good... after this rain they will make mountains of snow everywhere... hopefully the park is one of those places

BAD NEWS TIME:

cuz of the rain coming the snowmaker i was talking to said they will lose 1- 1 1/2 FEET of their base... remember its going to be like 50 and rainy for a full day and a half... but hopefully we will make up for it with snowmaking and a storm? that would be nice

Yep, was there today too and they r in rough shape. Hopefully friday and saturday will be good!! lapping LMP and springboard is just too damn fun

yea you did!! i said hey like its gunna be cloudy and warm. fun day lapping the park. then i got there and couldnt even see the actual mtn it was so foggy. the park was closed it was raining... still like mid 30's... not fun. complete day ruiner....

and to make it worse for me. i coulda worked and made 120 bucks today but i gave it up cuz i thought today was gunna be mad fun..... nope

I heard Sugarloaf got some snow out of it so hopefully they did as well.

I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna suck real bad I'm still

contemplating on whether or not I should head up.

scratch that, can't get a ride. I'll be up next weekend with a crew for video games though.

Is it gonna be hard to find a parking spot after 9am -10am tomo? Never been on a saturday before so I have no idea how crowded it actually gets...
