I have three friends who got the lines this year and all three broke them in the first week or two. Plus they are heavy and people need to wait a couple of generations i think b 4 buying em. Everyone I know who has Look's has had them for a while and loves em. And to be honest they seem just a safe.

from what i hear and have seen, the Reactor binding blows. It pivots out so easily, but buddie twisted himself out while doing a butter!

Not to mention they are heavy, bulky, and on any ski other than line, your foot sits about 4cm above the damn ski! If you are racing, that much lift can help with control, but for jibbing it is stupid to be that high above your skis.

Buy Look bindings. They have prooven to be the best for both racing and freeride. They stay in when you want them to, and they release when you need them to save your knees. Stick with what works! I personally will never use another binding system other than the Look Pivot. For you hardcore guys, check out the 18Din Race Pivot. It has an 18 point spring and a full 360* turntable heel.

Dont get me wrong Line is awsome but Let the Reactor bindings get better stick with Look for now there the shit!

i would wait a couple more years for line to make them stronger. but i think they look tight!

I am getting Lines next year, and nobody will convince me otherwise. I totally blew my knee on Look Pivot 12s this year. I would rather have a binding that may release a little too much (but not as much as Salomons) but save my knees. Seriously my fall was exactly what Line was talking about, backwards twisting fall and Looks only Pivot in the heal which only protects against forward twisting falls. I think a little struggle to get ur ski back in your boot is better than losing an entire season. Its sux ass believe me. Now if i only had a time machine.

Its not just your binding, if your knee was stronger or you were more flexible you could avoid injuries like that. I am re using the looks that I tore my acl using. I think they are amazing bindings and know my fall was just dumb luck and lack of skill. Shit happens sometimes.

no they don't have heavy duty 'CHACHUNK' noises when you step in. They almost slide into place.

Strength of your knee doesn't have much affect on blowing it. Was Pep and all the other pros who've blown their knees weak? I don't think so.

^Thank you for the support Josh. I just went into the Doctors today just for a second opinion on when I should get surgery. I asked him about a binding that also pivots in the front (Reactors) vs. a binding that does not. He said that he skis on Looks and had never heard of the Lines but that if they Pivot correctley in the front then they would be the safest binding on the market when it comes to your knees (it would release on backwards twisting falls, accounting for most skiing related ACL tears). When I asked him if it would have prevented my injury he said he could not tell. I also asked him about the strength of the knee as a factor of the end result. He said if you tear it skiing (a slow tear from twisting of the knee) most everyone else would tear it in the same situation. If it were a tear from shooting hoops (fast tear from stopping too quikly) then strength of your knee would come into play. I could go into more depth if you would like, he gave me a ton of info on this. Sorry for the length.

i love my Rosi scratch 100 (Look) bindings. they come off when i fuck up but not otherwise. the only thing is that they used to, it seams, clip in easyer, and now sometimes it takes a while for them to pop up.

Jarrod u should look into the new 4frnt bindings for next year because they have 3D toe pivot too but are much lighter than the lines are!

dont by reactors whatever you do there the worst bindings ive ever had in my life the clip out extremely easy and the frotn of the binding moves around so easy. I sent mine back to line
