Looking to ski and ride Urban in Vancouver

Just moved to Vancouver, looking for people to shred with for the upcoming season. At the hill and/or lots of urban! Let me know. Can text me at 250-617-8831

No... Seymour has a better park, the ratio of skiers to snowboarders shouldn't matter. And Grouse passes are like 3 times more expensive now

I didn't say who had the better park, or course Seymour does. No doubt, and skiers usally get shafted if they go to Seymour.

Yeah, it was good, but Seymour got the Nike 6.0 park that was so nice. Grouse is getting better, just Seymour has more focus on park then Grouse. Seymour I think has 3 nice parks, but Grouse has better jumps. I can say Grouse had a great jump line this season, and it is something I want to come back this season. Seymour has nice jibs to, but there rails are built high off the ground for boarders. Im going to be getting passes for both mountain, I already have my Y2P for Grouse, and Seymour passes are around 200-300 IDK. I like both mountains. I think he should really try both to be honest, just get a day ticket or something to decide.

Yo you guys leave this kid alone he is new a city and just trying to meet ppl with similar interests.

I am normally riding at Grouse, Whistler/Blackcomb so you will prob be seeing me up there a bunch. I'm generally a pretty friendly dude and always down to do a couple laps with ppl. The grouse scene is really open to new ppl and if you just start introducing yourself meet ppl in no time in the park. Although DIX is just a DICK haha. FUCKKKKK I can't wait for it to start snowing here...

Yea so I get the idea that Vancouver doesnt keep snow for very long for urban riding. Well if anyone is down im up for at least trying this year. And as for the mountain, I've never heard of Seymour, as I'm new to the area. I was planning on skiing Grouse Mountain with the occasional trip to Whistler/Blackcomb, but I'll definitely check out Seymour too! Hopefully snow come soon, anyone know approx when the mountains usually open?

hey now we usually get a couple days of snow in the city each year, you just gotta get shit done fast. this is from november last season, snow lasted for maybe 2 days. i think we had one more snowfall in february last season that lasted about 2 days also.

and like 4 years ago we had that one winter where there was snow for at least 3 weeks. and a lot of it, 3 feet in my backyard at first.

thats true! just isnt an all season long thing. ill be moving to Van for school next year and will definitely be looking forward to taking advantage of the few snowy days in the city!

fuckign awesome photo by the way!

do you know what they are going to have setup? nobody is anwering that on the facebook page. Ive heard that it was going to be seymours 32 box, which would really suck for a rail jam.

Someone should set up a summer type setup in their backyard, so we can ski it when there's no snow. Also does anyone know any shops in Vancouver where you can buy dope brand name Tall Tees, Sweaters and such?

I hear they are having a couple of downboxs. not sure on that. they are speaking to grouse and seymour about features and prizes. Surface Skis, RedBull and some others should be there though...
