Looking to print a large poster

Hello, a while back someone was exclaiming that they had a large printer capable of a 4ft x X sized poster. If anyone could find that thread or point me in a better-than-staples direction that would be awesome.

I'd rather not spend ~$60 to get drunk playing a pokemon board game but god knows I will

well i dont know what level of quality you are needing for your purposes, but have you heard of that type of printing (rasterizing? i think) where it cuts your big image down into many normal paper sized pieces, so you can print them all out and put them together? that would be cheap and doable at home

if you're looking for a higher quality approach than that i can't be of any help

so originally I did that and after a year it's beyond damaged. I want to get a full print, laminate, throw on some plexiglass and meld that shit together

nah, there's another thread with someone advertising having their own printing press thing. Thanks though

my office has a printer we use for hard copies of blue prints.

it can print 3' wide x 250' roll.

Check with any local newspaper or magazine parent company. They have the printers to do it and I can't see them charging as much as a commercial store. If not there then try a local advertising/marketing firm or any graphic designers in your area to maybe use theirs or see who they use.

pokemon board game you say? do share. Wish I could help you with finding a cheap place to print a giant poster, but I don't know of such a place. If you do find out though let me know because I am interested in this pokemon game you speak of.

Hopefully I can get this to work. 7-8 beers won't help, but because this game is fuckin sweet, I'll try

I have access to a big ass printer like that, so I'm in the works of printing out several of those and putting them on my entire wall, I am not sure how much it would cost for you but I get it for free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Now, I am on mobile so let's see how well this works but this is what I am printing, yeah its a bit much but I don't give a fart View attachment 757990

I printed a poster at staples once and it turned out really good. Unfortunately it cost like 20 bucks but worth it for a really nice picture or something.

Send me a pm.

If you think it would be cheaper than you going to staples I don't mind helping you out.

This looks great, I want to do the same in my room, Looks pretty hot

Just a caveat, I’ve never done it, that’s just a google image, so idk what settings/resolution you need etc etc

I usedhttps://rasterbator.net/ to make an posters like the one sofaking posted. The only thing is, you'll need a high-res picture and you're going to used a shit ton of your toner/ink cartridge. Just play around with your ideas on their site to get an idea of what you're going to get and if you do decide to print something, start small so you don't rip through your printer budget.

Yo wtf I didn't read the dates before posting this
