Looking to get more involved with NS

I am looking to get more involved with Newschoolers mainly because this is a unique site, so much is offered here that it's unbelievable. This site brings together basically the entire ski community and gives anybody the opportunity to become somebody and get noticed, and it's free! I want to give back, and I was wondering if there are any ways to do so. Obviously there are donations, which I can't seem to access at the moment but what else is out there? Thanks and have a good 2015 season!

Honestly if you can just be a good person on NS and not a dbag you're doing a lot. You have no idea how many people come on Newschoolers when they're down or bored and creating interesting threads and making friendly conversations and debates could make someone's day a little better.

just make good contributions, keep the stupid stuff in NSG, donating doesnt hurt either. if theres any subject you have some knowledge in, try to help people out with it. I find that one of the handiest aspects about this community is the range of topics that you can get help with, there are people on here from all walks of life (well, young white male walks of life) so you can almost always get/give advice on here.

try to post and vote on content i guess, just hang out and chime in!

If you start posting a lot of content like news articles, videos, pics and be a good member, you'll begin to make a name for yourself.

To be a good member you should pay close attention to what I do and always do the opposite of what I would do

Thanks guys and although it would be nice I wouldn't be able to make any of those categories haha, I don't put out too much content and take way too long to throw together an edit.

Start producing content, be a good member, offer your advice and seek it from other members. Honestly, you get what you put into it. If you don't feel you can (or are up to) producing content, start hitting up the forums and offer your insight, your experiences to other skiers. The community really makes this site what it is, not what you have next to your name, or what color it is. :)

Well I do have some content but it's mostly just my friends and I messing around. I started a video series but again we aren't pro haha

Put it out there man! Honestly, anything you have and are stoked on is welcome here. You totally don't need to be pro to have fun.

I'm currently doing more on the moderation side, but I've done some small news articles with the journalist side, even if my writing isn't spectacular. I'm stoked to put out some stuff this winter.

Get out there and get stoked.
