so i want to improve my rail skills this next year but i dont know how to work on them in the off season. do any of those balence boards help;. i have a summer drop in but we broke the only good rail and have not had the time to make a new one?

rollerblading helps quite a bit. i just have some shitty roces skates from like 6 years ago and a PVC rail, and whenever i get bored i just set it up in my driveway and sesh it for 30 minutes. it helps with balance and comfort/confidence on rails, and it helped me with switchups and spinning out.

Yup, I bought piece of shit skates and made a 10ft pvc rail and it's pretty much perfect for when I'm bored.

i have a mini ramp and i take skates on it quite a bit its pretty fun about as close to actually skiing as your gonna get

if you want to get better at rails, and already have the setup to do so (almost?)

make another rail, actually doing rails will help you get better at rails more than anything else.

a couple years ago i never even went in the park, but this year, I went in it about 65% of the time...I got switchups and 270s on and off...the key i believe is comitment to your trick

This. A new rail will take almost no time to build and only about 15 $ to make. This will help your rails the most. Its also an investment because you will have it for summers to come.

just gotta ski a 3-4 times a week, even if its just a couple hour night sesh in the park. I suck now compared to when I skied all the time, but honestly you progress so fast when get that comfort level on your skis.

2 in to everything you see. i did that one summer and the next season i had them dialed haha
