alright so I just got a macbook pro and i'm looking to get a dope sound system to hook it up to.. all i really need are 2 speakers and a subwoofer, and i'm looking to drop around $150 tops. can anyone give me some feedback about a computer speaker sytem they have and how much they like it. i definitely need something that can krump bass.

I was just looking around and i dont know if they make those anymore, but JBL computer speakers are definitely good.

go logitec dude best for your money, great bass, creatures are played you're payin for somethin thats in and looks cool. logitec or bose all the way

personally, i'm a fan of bose, but i know they can be pretty expensive. if i were you, i'd definitely make sure the system you get has a separate subwoofer with adjustable bass, it makes a huge difference in the sound and is easy to change depending on what you're listening to...

my reciever has a aux input, jumper from the headphhone jack into 160 watts gong into 2 12" celestions, 4 tweeters and 4 6" speakers

pretty massive bass output

I have theses speakers, and for the highs and mids they are great but yur probably nto going to get the bass that you would like out of them..

Stay away from Altec Lansing. They make really good sounding stuff but all of their connections and stuff suck and break super easily.

they arent really that good... m-audio isnt really known for its "audiophile speakers". Bose is a ripoff... its just a marketing scheme... honestly unless you wanna spend 500$+ dont spend more than 50-100$

I have a pair of JBL creature speakers and i love em. lots of sound and i paid about half price for em from a private seller on amazon.com. Find some speakers you like then see if people are selling them on amazon.

Those are some nice speakers, the M-Audio ones. I also have a friend who has the Harman Kardon SoundSticks II ($169.95). I don't have these speakers, but from the reviews and the limited (sorry) price range, either one of these speakers seems like a good choice.

i disagree. i've had speakers from polkaudio, boston, cambridge sound and logitech as well as bose and have to say, my bose speakers are BY FAR better quality than any others. computer speakers as well as car speakers.

depending on where you're at you can get a pretty sick system used from craigslist if you're down to go that route, i bought a pioneer surround sound system with 5 speakers including front and then plus a subwoofer, + macbook pro and the airport extreme so you can hook that shit up wirelessly through iTunes and bump your favorite tunes, that the most ballin... otherwise look on ebay at the logitech sets, determine your price range and go from there. dont shop at bestbuy that shits overpriced as hell.

JBL or Creative. Maybe Logitec. My friend has a pair of Creature II's and they're bomb

I've got some Creative T40's. For a 2-piece stereo speaker, it pummps some pretty good bass.

Get a 2.1 though, if you can.

THESE!

I bought em about a year ago and am NOT disapointed. You honestl;y wont be able to play them as loud as they go and the sounds is fucking unreal quality. this is a great deal to.
