Looking For the Perfect Ski

I thought I had found the perfect ski. The Anthems were so perfect. But then KISS Killed them. Fuck You KISS! So now Im looking for a new ski. I want something like the Anthems. A fat and flexible ski. Not to flexible to the point that its just a noodle, but flexible enough to easily pull off some butters. Newschoolers can you help me?
 
not doing any research and thinking of a ski thats pretty close to the anthems. I'd say go with the addicts, if your into a truecenter moint symetrical ski that has pretty close to the same specs.
 
I already have a pair of PE's and I missed a good deal on any other ski. I like the Butterlicous because of their flex, but their width sucks (79). I was looking in the direction of Armada or Line or Ninthward. But whatever would be great. Come on newschoolers, help me.
 
do you actually somehow think that the pontoon is like the anthem? or do you not even think before you post?
 
HEY ALL! The guy asked for skis that are LIKE THE ANTHEM, not to just yell out whatever ski you own.

The dude that said Addict is probably right. The Anthem was a symmetrical ski and there aren't very many of those, especially stiff ones. The Invader is soft, the 1260 is really soft, the Fischer Habit is soft. The Addict is stiffer, but I couldn't tell you if it is as stiff as the Anthem would have been.
 
what ski are you looking at?

The best way is to go to the company website and and find their INFO e-mail address and to just ask them directly how stiff the ski is.
 
OK So Ninthward died now. Im having the worst luck with skis. I really like the 4FRNT VCT's Im really looking into those. They look really sick. Im digging the graphics and the dimensions. The might be a little too wide for my liking but they seem fine. They are $700 though. Im looking for something pretty soft. I weigh about 125. Im about 5'8". I ski in Taos where when there is snow the skiing is good and when its bad the park is o.k. Not the best. Can you help NS?
 
yo you should ask cody if you can ride his elizabeths for a day or something, they might actually be pretty close to what you're looking for
 
either the '08 oakley osama pro or the '08 armada JP vs. shut the fuck up. my original 1080's were the best skis i ever owned.
 
The Volkl Karma is probably my perfect ski. Nice and stiff, good width, good build quality, good graphite base, comes in a longish length for my size. Sweet.

yep the nose on the ARV is the ultimate butter tool. so soft, but the tail has decent stiffness to it, good for some extra pop. that thing is less of an all mountain ski and more of a fat park killer.
 
fuji's are really nice, nice fat tip and tail very good flex. If your looking to go a little skinnyer, the invader is the same thing just not as beefed up.
