To kick it all off we're looking to sponsor our first team riders to help promote Hodr and create a solid community behind the brand.

Applications will close on the 20th Feb with the successful applicants being announced on our Facebook page on the 28th Feb.

Best of luck,

So your "outerwear" consists of cotton hoodies and cotton t-shirts? Or maybe you count the stickers? What a joke. You aren't a company. You don't sell outerwear. You have nothing that is in any way unique or special. If you want to give someone a free hoodie just call it that. Definitely don't call it a sponsorship. Nothing to see here folks...

HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE........

Just for the record, I don't get involved in this sort of banter often, but your response serves no purpose but to be hateful and condescending. All companies have to start somewhere. I happen to like their cotton hoodies and as I ski a lot in Socal, that's all I really wear. I would be stoked to be "sponsored" by them!

As for you...What a joke! You aren't a skier. You have a bunch of photos of random crap, but not one of you skiing! There is nothing unique or special about you. If you want to be a hateful bastard online for no apparent reason, just call it that! Definitely don't call it an opinion....even if you do, nobody really cares about yours anyway.

at first i was like, that price's not bad; then i saw the pound signsick but a bit pricey(90$+ shipping)

good luck. do research and be smart!

What's with the ö's? Hödr is ok,(I'm guessing its a reference to norse mythology?) but "store" is not the same word as "störe".

I'm from Norway though, and I guess people who don't know the letter ö won't mind, but it actually looks kind of retarded from a scandinavian point of view.

I think it's just their schtick. On another note, not trying to hate here but what will athletes get this conpany when they don't have any gear that can be viewed while skiing? Maybe you can wear a t during the late spring and a sweatshirt too but I generally stay away from cotton shit.

way to show him haha,

pretty clean design though, I'd buy one if it wasn't so pricey...

as a scandinavian I can tell you that "hödr" is an old norse spelling for "höður", a blind norse god. See the ski reference? i don't

because nothing screams skiing like the word armada. Not every ski company has to reference the sport in the name...

Whats with all the hate in this thread? What is wrong with a small company trying to grow a bit and hook some kids up in the process? Its a cool opportunity

How much harder will I be able to afterbang while wearing one of your hoodies?

I think that's the question we're all asking.

Hey guys,

Firstly we'd like to say thanks

for all the emails we've received showing support, including one from Newschoolers. All feedback, positive or negative helps us iron out the kinks and is much

appreciated.

We're always looking for ways to reduce our prices without compromising

on quality, out of interest what would be a more acceptable price for you guys in the US?, to give us

a target to aim towards.

@hugopeckham, Well said :)

As for the umlauts above the o's,

this is indeed part of our schtick, However after reviewing it from Jacobsen's

point of view and having several customers from his neck of the woods we'll change these

back to some regular o's to avoid confusion.

Superduploman is correct, our

name is in reference to Hodr the blind Norse god, The skiing reference comes from him

being the God of winter.

Thanks for all the applications so far, and if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
