Looking For Something New

Ive had the same glass setup for 2 seasons now, Tokina 11-16 2.8 and Tamron 17-50 2.8. Im looking to mix it up a little this year and maybe invest in a prime. Anyone know of anything that's worth it?

Needs to be...

-Wide

-2.8 or less

-Prime

Other than that not very picky.

This ticks all your boxes and tickles other things.

Nikkor 6mm f2.8

Buying a new lens won't do anything. Just go out and try something news.

If anything buy a tripod and a Tele lens.

16mm cinelens from Rokinon. Quite affordable and gives a nice looking image.

Terrible advice, please ignore this OP. You already own an 11-16. You dont need another wide lens.

why get another wide lens? why not get a tele lens like eheath said?

you've already got the focal lengths from 11-50 filled, why not get a 70-200 or something to round it out a bit

Just like others have stated above. Don't get Another wide angle lens. You don't need it and it won't add anything new to your kit. I would go with a 85mm or 100mm if you want a prime. Or a tele zoom

or the nikon 135 f/2, that's probably my favourite lens of all time

and I would go for a tele zoom. why do you want a prime so bad. I dont think prime lenses are worth it unless you get a cine lens kit. there are good photo primes but you can do a lot more with a tele zoom on the mountain.
