Looking for someone with octolands!!!11!!1

hey guy, so my spriral anthems are set to arive in 10 days, and i think it would be sick if i could trade someone one sprial ski for one octoland ski, so we would each have one of each. i hope to find someone who would dig it, and obviously the skis need to be not mounted already. so let me know if your down!!! i may put some money in to convince if needed. they are the same ski for any noobs who are worried about skiing with two different skis...

they only made like 400 pairs of each length? find more than a handful of people who have one of each. i'd be surprised if you could find that many. that's a sweet idea don't be a joykill. sorry i can't help you out
 
is it really ging to change my idea just because its been done?i posted something on it a long time ago..... who else did it?

yep, baller as hell. i just like the whole black and white thing. i may mount the octolands with the ocean at the front once i find someones ski.
 
dude, brilliant idea here:

if u got the cash buy a pair of the other then mix and match the ones u want. then sell the other set on here. sure it wouldnt be a hard sell( if u wernt lookin to come out on top).
 
no man, it took wy to long to get the spirals through the shop i have to order from, im not going through that again. plus selling stuff can be hard. come o people, im begging you! (note that its my b day on saturday, if thats an inentive to do it in some kreepy sort of way)
 
if i did that^^^^ i would come out on top by about 200 bucks, cuz i get 50% of skis. but i am not alawed to expliot the deal with the shop like that, i wish...
 
ok, here we go with the story of my life. because i have special privages i guess, i am getting the spirals that were on hold for people that own and work for companies and shops, because they had already ran out of the normal stock. aparentl its hard to keep inventory or something, because i ordered them a week after they came out, and they just found out they had them. if its that hard to keep track of the stock, im not going t try and confse things even more with making a more special order than aking for limited edition skis. so ya, just help me out NS!
 
KJones has a thread about selling a pair. See if he wants to trade you one, and tell him it will be easier for him to sell his because it will be a "cooler" pair of skis.

i have 171 octolands and would totally do it (actually thought of it a while back too but was didn't feel like going through the effort of finding someone and cost of shipping)...

but i already got them mounted, so unless you have fks and a 283mm BSL...

haha not a whole lot at all, but i had the skis and my boots shipped to jibij where josh helped me mount em up and then shipped across the country to me.... so i wasn't about to spend the time trying to find someone then asking josh to wait and hold all the stuff for me in the meantime, then send out one ski and wait for another, then mount, then ship again.
 
he guy, KJones says that he would be down if he could find a buyer before we sent the skis. so im going to help him out. anyone that is interested please post or pm and ill tell KJones whats up!
 
in my opinion it doesn't look all that great.
seen the combo in person
both spirals or both octolands would look better and unless skis are made as a pair with the same serial # they are not garented to be exactly a like. its hard to make two pairs of skis exactly the same.
i was going to get one white base and one black base on my bacons till i figured this out. now one white base and one black with the same topsheet would be so sick or one blue one black on 08 anthems or one yellow one pink on invaders.
 
dude, how do you think they could possibley make any pair of skis exacly alike, its impossible. so dont be so picky about it. they will still preform fine...
 
Actually that is a sicker idea IMO...one black and one white base, but topsheets are the same.

And of course they aren't "the same" the pair they sent you weren't pressed together either, but for all intents and purposes, any differences are so tiny in terms of production tolerances, it won't matter.
 
pretty sure with line if you have different serial numbers it cancels out the warranty aswell......so if you break em or something your kind of fucked.....its a rad thought though and good effort trying to get it to
 
any good company will warranty a product they put out that season. doesnt matter if u have a reciept or not...
 
Yep. I feel yah. I like the whole black spirals under my feet and they actually do match up as a left and right. Just not sure if I want to split them.
