Pretty self explanatory title.

Have found these for $122 brand new shipped on Amazon.

Anyone have something used that they aren't using anymore? Looking for 58mm thread on for GL2. Not looking to buy brand new if someone has something used that is in mint shape.

Thanks.

1. I thought the MX-3000 was a fisheye

2. I would say try skate perception, i know when I was looking there i saw a lot of them, but most of the ones for sale there are modded...i cant remember what that means, but yeah, they added something to them

They are wide angle lenses.

And this is what is meant by modded:

The center glass of a different cheap fish eye lens is placed in the middle of the MX-3000 and suspended with an adhesive (I used a simple poster adhesive for mine).

Ya I've been cruising e-bay for a couple weeks and not too much on there that isn't brand new. I lurk SP but want nothing to do with posting on there and then having primarily 12 year old kids tell me that I'm an idiot for not wanting a Death Lens.

To answer the fisheye question; the Raynox is a "semi-fisheye" meaning that you get very small amount of distortion around the edges, but it is more like an extremely wide-angle. You can't really zoom through it at all, but you don't get vignetting like you do on some of the cheaper lenses that are marketed as the fisheye - wideangle - macro all in one. From what I understand is pretty much just a good follow-cam and jib lens that is better in daylight than nighttime.

The mx-3000 can be found for 100 dollars on B+H or Adorama I believe. Its a semi-fisheye. Basically the closest you can get to a fisheye without the dumb black ring around your shot. IF you have a filter on there will be a ring just to fore warn you. But yeah...100 is how much I got mine for.
