Looking for people to go in on an Airbnb near Mt Hood during May

Edit: Currently this is the best deal I've found:https://abnb.me/P2PyAn0QJV

-$33 per person per day (if split between 3 total people)

-3 separate bedrooms

-2 full bathrooms

-close to mountain

-hot tub

-nice outdoor deck area

-If this is out of your price range but you're interested, lmk and I can find cheaper options

I'll be skiing at Timberline from May 8th - 20th. Graduating from college in a month and am looking to get 3 total people at the minimum, but the more the merrier. I’ll also be renting a car and am willing to pay for the rental in exchange for gas money

a bit about myself:

-21 years old

-Casual drinker

-Down to smoke whenever

-Cool with doing our separate thing the whole time if you're meeting people there, equally as cool with someone who's down to ski and find stuff to do in the area

By replying to this or messaging me you aren't committing yourself to anything. If you reach out and are interested in this deal i'll give you my full name so you can look me up on social media, then we can skype/facetime or something to confirm both of us are who we say we are and go from there

I'll be skiing at Timberline from May 8th - 20th. Graduating from college in a month and couldn't turn down how cheap the spring pass is, but as of now none of my friends are available to go. Already have some dope looking/cheap options, so message me if you're interested or reply to this post. Looking to get 3 total people at the minimum, so 2 other than myself.

Looking for people that are relatively similar in age/personality/lifestyle, so here's a bit about myself:

-21 years old, senior at penn state. Born and raised in PA, will be working full-time in Philly

-Not amazing at park skiing but can 360 off decent sized jumps, FS/BS switchup and FS 450 out. Love to ski the entire mountain but mainly focusing on progressing in the park during this trip

-More of a casual drinker. At least that's what I tell myself

-Down to smoke whenever

-Plan on skiing nearly every day I'm there (may take a few days off to rest/explore other areas in oregon)

-Cool with doing our separate thing the whole time if you're meeting people there, equally as cool with someone who's down to ski and hangout

By replying to this or messaging me you aren't committing yourself to anything -- definitely trying to make sure there's somewhat of a personality fit before confirming anything. If you reach out to me i'll give you my full name so you can look me up on social media, then we can skype/facetime or something to confirm both of us are who we say we are and go from there

We can be homeless together in Portland

you're better off airbnbing for that shor tof a period.

Meant to include in the original that the options I have are on Airbnb. This one in particular is $100/night and could fit 3-5 people easily:https://abnb.me/NsszvKBPJV

If anyone’s interested but won’t be there the whole time that’s fine we’ll work something out

Really nice looking place with 3 separate bedrooms, a hot tub, and close to the mountain

This is a killer deal especially for that area and time of year! I live close by and ski up on Hood(Meadows) myself. I would dig to meet and ride with you but unfortunately I just had my ACL and MCL replaced today, lol so I will have to just tell you to have fun! The season has been epic and there is a lot of snow up there, temps have been rising but have been staying in the mid 30’s the last week and should stay that way until May. It’s Tline so there will be snow no matter what. Hope you find a few people to stay at this place, it’s a super cool outdoor area! I definitely recommend hitting the Portland scene if you get the chance, drink a good beer, smoke a good J, eat some good food cart food! Hit me up when you are here and I could maybe meet up for a beer.

most people camp/car camp. you'll meet tons of people at the mountain and can form some sick camp sites and move around to different locations. it's way cheaper too. i did the spring pass for may 2013 and camped out of my car. it was dope!

Hope your knee recovery goes smoothly man that sucks. Thanks for some info about what it's like up there during this time of year, this will be my first trip to oregon.

Like he said this is a great deal, would come out to about $33 per person per night

Thanks for the recommendation, may look into camping half of the time and airbnb the other half depending on how many people I end up splitting the airbnb with. Just over $30 a night per person is a complete steal for a nice house though!

Bump, looking for one more person to split the rent! the dates are from 12th to 20th but I will be staying until the 27th

Doesn't airbnb add like 50% to the price with fees as well? I've stayed in plenty but never been the one that booked them.

Still not a bad deal. Honestly a lot of people are paying 30ish a day for their living spaces. I would hot tub a shit ton to feel like I'm getting killer value.

Sounds like a pretty good deal though. Usually peoples deals are like "I found this killer place for 7,500 a night, but if we put 12 people in each room it's totally affordable". 3 people is the limit of success with strangers imo. Trying to gather more than 3 without somebody flaking or being a douche is tough.

I understand that if you have to fly to Oregon that getting an airbnb and a rental car would be the best option, but if you can drive to hood, definitely camp. You'll save money and meet a bunch of homies, plus camping and shredding hood is the most fun thing you can do ever:)
