Looking for park skis...

I kind of already started a thread concerning this, but i'm gonna be more specific this time.

I have one pair of skis that's already designated for days with fresh. the was i ski is this, if there's fresh, i head for the trees, if there isn't i play around, either in the park or just cruising on the side of trails, what have you. i ride east coast, and go to school in hartford, ct, far from any serious mountains.

i need a second pair, but that's the last pair i can get for a while ($). that second pair is going to be a park pair, and i'm gonna beat the shit out of them. i had a pair of fischer addicts, and i loved the center mount and symmetrical dimensions. i sold em cause they were heavy, and little too stiff. versatility is great, but being fun and a solid park ski is what i'm looking for.

here's what i don't want to do without (but i can be persuaded)

-symmetrical dimensions and center mount

-good characteristics for butters

-durability

-poppy and light, yet without drastic compromise of stability

ohhh do I have the ski for you. check Boone skis. the park/powder ones are similar to the anthems but IMO way better.

light, poppy without compromising stability

good flex pattern for butters, but mid-flex so they handle everywhere.

bamboo core? gnarly fun

durable as army surplus pants

If you need info message DingoSean or BOONE_SKIS

I wouldnt suggest K2 or the invaders if you want something to last you a while they are both super cheap and K2 is made in china so they arent the greatest quality

id be interested to see how the boone skis turn out. so far ive heard mostly good reviews. maybe you should try them out, support a smaller company. smaller companies are usually better with customer service and helpout however they can (atleast the last few have been better).

Line Invaders all the way, I dont have them myself but I was really close to buying them and from what Ive seen and read they have pretty much everything youre looking for

if you have some kind of argument against Boone, look Bluehouse. very similar skis, but Bluehouse has a sick early season sale about to drop, check it.

nah dude they're pretty sloppy with big jumps. Anthems are a little better but if you want that great all around ski that works super well in the park and also outside it pretty much anywhere neither the anthem nor the invader are your best option. Not saying the anthems couldn't work for him but he might want to look at a mid-flex or a teensy bit softer than mid flex. but not noodle.

Fischer Habit?

It's the old softer version of the Addict. They're new for 165 off of EBay. They have a symmetrical pattern, and are light and soft, but not so soft.

Ya, I think I'm gonna get em, though I wish the bases were more than black.

I had the Addicts, and liked em a lot, but the Titanal plate was cumbersome, and put a lot of the edge pressure underfoot, which made for a funky pivoting feeling. The Habit is the improved version (in my opinion), not that i've skied them...

Fischer Habit in 178?
