Looking for New boots

Hey Guys, I'm looking for some new boots, I am an expert park skier, I'm looking for a boot that's stiff like 120-130 flex with a 98-99 last, I'm looking for a boot with a pretty narrow heel. Ill defiantly go to a boot-fitter to try different ones on but Id like to see what you all are recomending, I was thinking either the dalbello Il Moro or the Technica Cochise pro 130, what do you guys think?

FT Seth Morrison might be a boot to look at, or the FT 2016 First chair 8. I would get your foot measured and whatever before you look at them. When the boot fitter is done looking at your feet, ask him/her if those would be a good boot to look at. Always get your feet done before you ask the fitter what a good boot would be for you, as he/she will recommend boots for you to look at

Never really should you ask to try a boot. Take the fitters recommendations and if the boot you were looking at is not one maybe ask why he would not recomend it.

On another note full tilts will probably be no where near stiff enough. He is looking for a 120-130 an full tilt do not offer that. Not to say tey are bad boots but if your looking for a big stiff boot they are probably not for you.

Op op honestly don't even bother looking just go get fitted. It is always easier to work with people who have no preconceptions of what they want. What you do for sure want though is footbeds. Do not buy a boot without.

OP listen to this guy. I think he knows what he's doing more than I am. I thought from just knowing that the Full tilts have a higher flex model it would be worth a look, but Tom knows more about gear than I do. You got what you needed from an expert, I'd say go into the shop now

Full tilt may work it's just when you compare them to overlap boots tey are a little soft. For example I was skiing in the descendant 8 last season and they compared pretty well to a salomon spk with a 100 flex. The forward flex is super nice for sure but if you are ridin hard and fast they probably won't be the boot you choose. But yeah try to find the best shop you can and see what works.

You think the Descendant 8 is the exact make flex as the First Chair 8 considering they are slightly different shells? The descendant series has the tongue built in which might be a little stiffer?

They are very similar. If any thing the 99 shell may be a little stiffer but it's very close. The descendant still uses the same removable tounge it just has all the other upgrades that you will more then likly see on the rest of the boots in the future.

Well looks like I learned something new. Thanks Tom. OP, you should thank Tom too.
