Looking for Light and Poppy Park Ski

Hello NS, I am currently looking for an all Park ski that can meet my expectations.

I am 6'1' 150 lbs, and I ski a 169 K2 Kung Fujas (i know a little small for me). When I do park, I feel that the Kung Fujas perform excellent. Although I feel that I am constricted by the heavier weight and wider width. They make it heavier to spin and since they are shorter than what I am suppose too, jumps feel weirder and I wash out a lot more.

The skis I am currently looking at are:

* Head JO Pro Model

* ON3P Blue Steele

Theses models are really lightweight and are rated highly by people that I have asked.

OK, so can anyone further review these skis or recommend me any other ones that 1) Really Light Ski 2) Dont break after little usage 3) Poppy so I can spin more 4) Perform well on rails and light enough for 270's off and on

++++++K If you can help me figuring out what I need!!!!

I think surface nine lifes would be good for you. I love mine they are pretty light and very poppy.

lightdurablepoppy (doesn't mean you can spin more btw)low swing weight (number 4)
moment reno jibs (181)armada ar6/ar7 (has and always will be one of the most solid park skis out there)
or i'd say alpha's but they might be too small for you

Are they light and don't break down? Can you be more specific or give me a mini review? Are they rockered?

Also I was looking through SIA and I can't find the 2011 Nine Lifes. Were they renamed or changed?

Keep in mind im getting a 2011 ski not any previous year ski

I think I'm pretty set on getting some Surfaces. The new No Time which I believe is replacing the Nine Lives. It has stronger edges, which was a problem with last years, and really cheap.

if your looking for a light, poppy, ROCKERED ski, go for the on3p blue steel's. theyre rockered and i believe theyre 100% symmetrical which means they will have super low swing weight (faster spinning)

So I have heard. ON3P Blue Steele or Surface No Time (rename of Nine Lives)????

Surface's skis are hella cheap and less than ON3P, and I have also heard that No Times are the lightest on the market.

Can anyone who has ridden any of these give me some more info?

+K to anyone who has helped

HEAD J.O. pro representin. Seriously though, here is the way I judge what ski I need. 80% jumps 20% rails than J.O. pro if 50% of each than I go with reno jibs 80% rails 20% jumps I would use afterbangs/townships. Rails include urban.

check out liberty skis, they are very light, super durable, and pretty poppy. i had a super fun season on a pair this winter.

BSs for sure, super light and poppy(thanks to the bamboo core), 2.5x1.7mm edges, race base, tip/tail rocker. imo the perfect park ski. pm me if you need any real specific details

JON OLSON is a fag that has to be the ugliest ski ive ever seen and why isent it a race ski?? he is cool haha any way have you thought of maybe getting a pair of armadas i rock the t halls and thier preaty dope poppy their not as light as other skis but my 181s feel i lot lighter or the same as 160 somthing afterbangs but their lighter then most skis but not something that you want to center mount

Liberty LTE 178

Bamboo = Light and poppy. Kills it on the groomers and in the park while still wide enough to take on up to waist deep powder. Sick as fuck skis!!!

I have no clue what you just said. But I think the graphics on the new JO Pro are pretty baller, and no he is not a fag

you are describing the Liberty LTE. That fits your description to a mutha fucking T! bamboo, durable, light, and 3 year warranty. i have a pair and would not even think of skiing anything different. well, the AR6 is pretty legit too, but i really like the feel of the LTE.

Ok, im begining to move over toward Liberty now since they seem so light and I can't get in contact with Surface skis. Since they are 5 mm wider than Surface No Times (the new nine lives) how will they differ on weight and ability to lock onto rails and land off of jumps?

+k for more answers

A note on bamboo skis - though bamboo is light, it really depends on what other components go into the ski that make it light. Before you jump on any bandwagons, check out actual weights rather than going with what 'seems' best.

i loved shredding brand new surface ninelifes for 3 runs then they snapped right in half. such a fun ski for the little time we spent together lol

volkl walls are pretty light and super durable they have held up for 2 seasons of abuse

Nine Life= Amazing Ski. If your looking for light, you will not be dissapointed. a pair of 172 nine lifes feel as heavy as a single 160 rossi scratch ski. only con, the durability has been crap n a couple of pairs, mine included (tail bent back, core probably snapped).
