Looking for example edits and help, fisheye DLSR

I bought a Opteka (rokinon 8mm rip off) fisheye for my T2i, and feel like I have to be ridiculously close for the rider to not look small, like sticking the camera under their board while on the rail. Am I missing something? I'm looking for tips/tricks and example edits so I can see what they did. Otherwise I might sell it for a Tokina 11-16mm, if anyones interested.

Watch pretty much any snowboard edit, but fisheyes and really close filming isn't really liked very much on here. you should defiantly get the 11-16, I've heard wonderful things about it.

And the opteka fisheye is just a re-branded rokinon.

I have the tokina 11 to 16 and the thing is llitterally like they took an intense orgasm and shoved it iintoa camera lense. It is crazy.

Just so you know the Opteka is not actual a re branded rokinon, they aren't even the same focal length soo you guys are both pretty wrong there
