Looking for an affordable all mountain twin tip ski

Hey !

I had such a good experience with the völkl ledge for the the last three seasons but I‘m pretty sure that you all know what happens with skies if u start riding backcountry or funparc. So basically they‘re pretty messed up! I‘m pretty good at skiing got my ski instructor last year haha I know that’s means nothing. I still have no idea wich ski fits my riding style best. I hope u can help me a little bit more when I‘m telling you a couple of things that are important for my new ski.

-First of all I need all mountain skies. So not to light or something like this.

- We’ll, twin tips are important for me as well cause I‘d like to go for a couple of days into the funparc. (Not everyday ?)

-I love powder and I‘m basically always next to the slope if there is snow ! (Not backcountry cause i‘m always renting extra skies for that)

- 50/50 bindings

I appreciate it if some out there understands me and my difficulties ? thanks for answers!

what's your height/weight and what's your budget?

my go-to suggestion for someone like you is the Armada ARV96 and Tyrolia Attack 13 bindings, which is a really nice and easy to use do-it-all (in terms of all mtn shredding and park) setup for a pretty good price. if you need to go cheaper than that let me know

Where are you located, this may affect the availability of particular skis/brands available and I'm guessing you're not in the US?

That is awesome man. I love that you call it the funparc. I have no idea whats skis are a good deal out there so I'd look around and see what you can get for a good price and then let us know what you are looking at.

Haha that’s how u call down here in the alps ! And be honest fun parc sounds way better than parc ?

I'm looking for nearly the same for the upcoming season and think that Skis like the ARV 96, CT 2.0 and Kartel 96 are good fits. Just waiting for a good deal for one of these ?

Deals on the ARV 96 should be easy to find, the CT 2.0 maybe, Kartel 98 or 96 not so much.

Check these out, they are around your length and price range and pretty sure they deliver to germany if they can get to me in the UK. the default bindings are marker m11 or look nx12, i'd go with the look bindings.

Line Chronic -https://www.snowleader.co.uk/en/pack-chronic-2018-BUND03473.html?size=164 cm

K2 Poacher -https://www.snowleader.co.uk/en/pack-poacher96-2018-BUND03502.html

Nordica Soul Rider -https://www.snowleader.co.uk/en/pack-soul-rider-87-2018-BUND03801.html

Thanks bro ! Do you think the “Line” one is stiff enough for going on the slopes

The Chronic should be stiff enough. I think it's a great parc ski, but when it comes to groomers the skis I mentioned seem to be in front. I would recommend you to take a closer look on the CT 2.0

And you think the arv 96 is the right one for all mountain ?

It's a good all around ski. It's not the fastest on hard piste and it's not great on ice which would be my concerns skiing in the alps. It is reasonably priced and good for a lot of different conditions.

I‘m pretty sure the arv 96 or the ct 2.0 suits my style best ! We don’t have that many German discount sites for skies. That’s the problem haha ? u will probably find some good deals on bluetomato or Karstadt-Sport or stadium but that’s already it

Down skis do the Throwdown 105 which is sick. Only comes in a 182 though (unless that changes this year), but it's got plenty of rocker so doesn't ski long at all. Pre-sale in September where you can pick some up for 299eur..Been on mine three seasons and they're still going strong.
