Looking for an acoustic guitar

my first guitar was $100 and it sounds fine

since you're starting out try to find something that's cheap and doesn't sound like ass
 
all guitars come in a box at some point.

mostly I was talking about walmart/target guitars.

and for $180 brand new for a starter guitar? pretty good. Most people buy a guitar and never end up learning anyway.
 
i fucking love norman, I have 2 norman acoustics and they are gorgeous, sound amazing and are relatively inexpensive (at least in canada)

theyre all made in quebec so for canadians they are cheaper than the ones that come across the border (quality-wise)

norman should be your #1 choice if you live in canada. seagull is pretty good too, both norman and seagull are owned by godin, they are similar quality and price but I say norman over seagull any day. these 2 brands might be a bit more expensive but if you're willing to go $400-500, you will absolutely get your money's worth
