Looking for agressive inline skates, any advice?

I am looking to get some of those inline skates that people use at the skate park. I have never purchased any before and have heard of some people mention it on here before. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what a good pair would be for a beginner.

Depends on foot volume generally. I'd recommend going with a hardboot too (plastic shell w liner inside like a ski boot).

Most of these boots have an average level of lateral flex for an aggressive boot.

USD Aeon (wide but very flat on top)

USD Sway (higher volume than aeon)

THEM 909 (mid to high volume)

THEM 908 (same as 909 but a bit shorter per size)

Roces M12 (narrow foot only)

Razors SL (on the wider side)

Razors Cult (narrower like a Full Tilt Classic)

Razors Shift (fits like Cult)

Pay attention to whether or not the liner is stock, or by an aftermarket company (MyFit, Reign, Intuition). Stock liners won't feel so good especially USD or Razors.

Wow thank you!

I have a pair of Them skates and dig them. They fit good, well built and are reasonably priced. Hit us up if you have any more questions.

If you can fit them Roces M12 are the best for starting out, super cheap, decent soul plate, and the stock liner is always good. Them skates are good for mid volume feet but kinda pricy.

Priciness of THEMs depends on if you get the stock liner or Intuition liner. Stock liner is fine

Unfourtanently my feet are not nessesaraly real narrow so I'm thinking from what you guys said the roces 12 might not fit great.

The usd sway 57 skates are fairly cheap, have a hard shell, and look alright. Does anyone have anything good or bad about those?

Sways are good, get them if they look good to you.

Sway is a good boot but the stock liner isn't great except on the Chris Farmer model. Consider upgrading to some myfits or reign liners if that's in your budget.

Also, M12s aren't that narrow, as long as you can fit a full tilt they'll be fine. I wouldn't order them unless you can try them on or wear a full tilt classic shell though.

Roces M12 (narrow foot only)

This is a persistent myth and i dont understand where it comes from.

i wear a 10.5 - 11 shoe and the size 10 valo v13 i have (valo v13 is the same skate as roces m12)

is plenty wide for my foot,,, and i absolutely dont have a narrow foot. My foot isnt fat boy wide, but its not narrow, and v13s fit me like a glove.

the valo v13 sizemore and also the new roces m12 low cut are the ones you want op, because they are made with a stiffer shell which supports more and performs better.

i tried razors once, the size of the pile of shit that razors are would literally not fit in the solar system. They felt like some 6th grader had made them out of cardboard for a science project.

, im sorry, but razor genesys had less support than flip flops, the plastic was so soft it was worthless.

if you like them thats cool but i personally need much more support in an inline skate.

Anybody know if there is like a decent online classifieds or other place to pick up used inline skates? I'd love to try it, but not sure I'm ready to drop like $200 considering I haven't skated since like 5th grade.

Blade trade on Facebook is the best for that.

blade trade outpost on facebook if you want aggressives

if you're looking for skates for just cruising then go with a budget big wheel skate like the powerslide phuzion

Update: these came in today. Now time to get more comfortable using them

Not at least trying out valo v13s/roces m12s to see if they actually fit is pure degeneracy. You might have been the next broskow. But now we will never know bc you never gave v13s/m12s a shot.

I might be a bit offended if this came from anyone other than you.

I’ve been getting ads for Death and Glory skateshop in Denver. It looks so sick, my old ass might have to pick up a pair and gape the park. Hopefully i can get my daughters to skate so i dont feel so damn awkward in the park haha

picked up some roces m12s myself recently. fit very tight new but after 5 sessions theyre starting to break in and fit better, but I do have a narrow foot. I also needed room for my orthodic footbed but its staring to fit in better now. have a 255mm foot so I got size 8/9 and it was def the right choice.

wish i got into blading earlier though its a ton of fun. got some grinds down already, some spins all ways, hucking it off some bigger stairsets. hopefully get decent by the end of the summer.

trying to work up riding the quaterpipes but feels like i cant grip them at all, any tips?
