Looking for a powder only ski rec

I’m looking for some nice fat floaters for deep powder days. Nice bowl and tree ski.

Been looking at Jskis, on3p, and candide skis…

I’m a big fan of my 92mm Jskis so leaning towards the “Elevation” ski

i am a big fan of 5 point skis. i’m sure a bunch of brands are making them these days but my pow skis are fatypus d-riddims and they are bomb proof and i’m really able to rip them in tight trees because of that shape. RMU has similar shapes. you can easily go up a size for extra float and it skis like a much shorter ski

I demoed a yle 118 and thing ripped. Ended up going with a steal on bibbys but might try em in the future.

Can definitely recommend bibbys/wildcats, they float great but busts through crud as well

Just bought the AK121

Havent tried them yet tho. But looks super fun.

Yeah they look nice but the pure white top sheet for a powder ski is a turn-off for me

I agree. But I'll only use them for inboundspow.

Got a Magic J UL and ARG2 UL for serious days.

If you want pow only definitely go for the pescados. Way too fun and you can lean as far forward as you would on your normal skis so you can get cookin through tight trees with ease

I 100% recommend the 5-point designs for tight tree skiing and love my d-riddims too!

Fatypus FTW. Their skis are bomb proof. Been riding a bunch of different models over the years and I can attest to the quality and durability over time.

I also have a set of brand new head boneshakers listed on gear trade. Huge fat pow boards. The ones listed were brand new in the plastic that I just had laying around.

Go for the Season Forma instead. They're designed by the same guy for the same purpose, but they're not made in China and don't have Line's quality issues

I would normally recommend bent 120's but prices are about to be fucked. I really want to support atomic but I think I might be moving to a new brand soon.
