Looking for a place to stay this winter

My buddy and I were looking to move up to Whistler from the end of December through the end of March. Any idea's on where we could crash this winter? Peace.

 
Sorry, but I forgot to ask if anyone knows if it is possible for us to work in Canada while we are up there? We are American citizens so I don't know how the laws work and if we need to get work visas or anything like that and if it even worth all the effort in trying to work up there?

 
I'm Australian but I have had to get a working holiday visa for Canada but don't know about Americans, you might have some trade agreement or something with Canada.

But I have a freind who went to Canada last year without a visa and she had no trouble getting work, so don't think it should be too hard for you.
