Looking for a new Ski for deeper days

I ride the Arv 96’s right now and I love them. Need something a little wider for those days that get a little deeper and to take out west, I’m in the east. I’m in the trees a lot but I also love the park, time spent is probably 50/50. I wanna hit big jumps, drop cliffs, ride switch, drop cliffs, and hopefully it can butter somewhat nicely with all that. Looking at the faction ct 3.0’s, those do well in the real deep? and anything else similar or better? Thanks

The Armada ARV116s are a great park/ powder cross over ski. The faction CT3.0 and CT4.0 are tons of fun everywhere on the mountain. The Aramadas will butter much better then the candides but the candides are much stiffer and can go a little bit bigger in my opinion. The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 is also a great powder/trick ski. Since I’m riding the CT4.0 I can say it’s tons of fun everywhere on the mountain!

I have some JJ Zeros with kingpins and have straightlined early morning hard pack at Val Thorens because a buddy left his backpack on the gondola. A little floppy on the really chattery stuff, but they're pretty fun skis all over. They are fun as hell in pow, but from experience skiing the Bubba, 1st gen BDog and JJ zero, that elf shoe rocker skis (widest point before the ski leaves the snow in the tip) have a tendency to steer in the opposite direction of the carve in soft groomer conditions, not an issue on a pow day or for getting back to the lift, though.

Yeah JJs are a blast on deep days but I wouldnt recommend them for anything else, especially not for someone on the east coast

they seem like they would be very chattery on variable terrain

like i said earlier, the CT 5.0 is great all around, but the all-new CT 3.0 (19/20 model) is 112 underfoot, and is based on the CT 5.0 (old 108mm version was based on the 4.0 design)
