Looking for a marketing job in Colorado (from Ohio)

I'm about to graduate in December with a marketing degree from Ohio State and have been considering moving to Colorado afterwards. I don't have any specific preference for location or companies to be looking at, so really any advice from you people would be appreciated.

I am currently looking on job boards and have seen a few things of interest, but I'm really open to anything. It doesn't necessarily have to be something full time, but something with decent pay would be nice. I know how expensive cities like Breckenridge and Aspen can be. So yeah.. any advice would be great. Thanks.

Good luck man, marketing jobs are extremely competitive right now, even more so in ski towns, so id suggest looking in the front range as well. Denver, Boulder, Ft Collins. Denver is super fun for recent grads, lots of young people, awesome bars and restaurants. Skiing takes a little more time and effort but is worth it.

Thanks for your reply. I'll start looking for jobs in Denver and the surrounding area.

What kind of "marketing" job?

Do you have any experience/internships?

Not trying to be a dick here.....i just need a little more info to help you out.

I'll pm you with some more info. But for anyone else reading this thread...

I've had two internships so far, one of which was a marketing intern for a multi-billion dollar insurance company.

I'm graduating with a degree in marketing, but I've also completed an entrepreneurship minor and written tons of business plans for various ideas I've had, so I'd be comfortable working in either a start-up type company or more stable business.

I was also a university tutor - I enjoy working and helping/leading others and consider myself someone who enjoys the communication process of a business - so I would definitely be interested in sales/rep type jobs as well.
