Looking for a good light poppy flexy ski.

Hey guys, I ride about 70 percent park and 30 all mtn. I have pow skis so there's no need for and all mtn ski. However I would like a ski that can handle the crud when i'm riding park.

I am at a very small mtn so I don't hit big stuff often but I'd still like a ski that can handle 30' 40'. I currently ride Vishnu Wets. I love them to death and they are the funnest lightest ski I've ever ridden, but they are too soft for a lot of the new stuff i'm getting into, like stupid soft. I front flipped a couple times on them and stomped it however my head scrapes the ground on take off because the skis are noodles.

I still want to be able to butter but i'd like something more on the poppy side, so I can nollie without worrying about face planting. I like the chronics but I think they'd be to stiff for me, I only weigh 150ib so it takes effort to butter a stiff ski. So i'm asking you guys to see what you ride or what you'd suggest. Think super light, flexy, and poppy (i know its hard to have both).

do you want a narrow or wide ski

In terms of park skis I do tend to prefer wider park skis to the traditional style. Though I don't want to sacrifice a high swing weight for width.

*i meant sacrifice LOW swing weight for width. However I don't need a real wide ski because I won't be taking these in the pow.

I'd say anything under 100 underfoot is probably going to be fine. Depending on your riding style you can get anything from a chronic ( 150 lbs will be plenty of weight to flex them) to a Whipit (still soft as fuck but poppy) to a wider ski like a blend, Allplay, Transfer.

I'd say if you like doing more tech tricks, stick with the narrower options @ ~90 underfoot with the chronic or Whipit. If you like doing big shit get a ski thats not overly soft like the Chronic, Allplay or Transfer. If you like swerving around, get the blend or Transfer.

Ive ridden all of these except the blends which Ive seen a ton of people ski. Imo these are some of the better options out there.

Just going off of brand for weight, I would say Liberty and Icelantic also have some stupidly light skis. Nomad 95 and the Antigen could be good options for you. Ive ridden both of those as well.

I'm thinking line blend. I really like the one ski quiver idea that everyone seems to rave about. I'm trying to decide on length 178 or 185. I'm 150 and 5'8". I do more jumps than rails. I'm leaning to 185 for stability, but because of its width do you think it'll be to heavy to lug around in the park for jibs at that length?

Don't get the blends unless you want to continue face planting off the lips while doing frontflips

Is there something else you suggest then? Maybe something like the blends but stiffer?
