Looking for a campground close to mt hood

my buddy and i are planning a trip to the glacier this july and i was wondering what campsites are close and cheap?

trillium lake's super close too, but i'm pretty sure it's a legitimate campground. meaning you have to pay.

its oregon, find a place in the woods. a lot better than getting your shit stolen at the airstrip

whistler's public park is nowhere near as good as hood's.

They're apparently going to be cracking down on hiking the lanes there this summer, I wouldnt risk it.

i have stayed at trillium. i liked it. super cool little lake. there were sweet little salamanders in the water i chased around

I hear this every year I go out there. If you actually do get kicked out, just go back and sesh late in the afternoon. The only people up there after the lifts stop running are cat drivers and most of them dont give a shit and they're pretty easy to avoid.

this. trillium is great. safe, big camping spots, and a great place to smoke up all night.
