Alright so I would say Im a beginner skier in the park.. I can do rails but I havn't grasped the 27 on and 27 out yet. I can get the jumps but I cant set my spins. Most of the time Im landing sideways.

So is there a camp that for beginners? I dont want to go to a camp and hold everyone back because of my skill level.

by no means am i new to skiing.. Ive been skiing since i was 3. Im just new to the whole park scene.

from what i have read, most camps are open to all skiers. and fun no matter if you are pizzaing down or throwing cork 9's.

i do windells at Mt hood and its tight. the coaches are ridiculous and Tim Durtschi was with Windells on Sat and Sunday so even better and you dont have to be good cause theres a skier who can barely ski let alone rails

all camps put you in with whatever people are in your skill level so ur riding with people who are on your level

i recomend going to coc because they have the t-bar so your legs dont get trashed, and the park's sick nasty so you can progress really fast, and theres a ton of baller shit to do there

hey Jdot, we get a lot of novice park skiers at COC. In fact we have lines of jumps. hips and rails specifically for novice park skiers. So don't worry about holding up your group! You'll be grouped with people that ski just as well (or bad!) as you!

Yes, they have setups like that. Last summer there was a small rail garden with two flat boxes and a long flat rail that were set up for learning or learning new tricks.

Exactly, we have a selection of ride on rails and boxes to get you used to riding a rail or box. Once you get comfy with that, you can start learning how to jump on to rails and boxes. It's all about progression and progressively difficult features.

alright sounds good. im tryin to convince my buddy to go with me. cuz when we ski together we push each other harder. but if he cant then o well. im just tryin to get better. im guessing the earlier u go the better then right?

Go to COC. i went last summer and i just started skiing park like halfway through last season. it helped me a lot. its a superfun atmosphere and everybody is real nice. i didnt go with anybody i knew but the friends i made are now some of my best friends now. DO IT!!!! its worth every penny

also. i know where you go to get some pot in whistler

Hey Jdot, the park is consistent for all of our sessions, so just pick a camp date that works the best for you! Let me know if you have any other questions and hpe to see you this summer!
Thanks for the props Italianjibber! Are you coming back this summer?

Its like a 50/50 shot of me coming back. I was thinkin about doin the procamp cause it would only cost me like half as much and it also depends on if i can get both my jobs back this summer. college is crazy expensive. but if not this summer then next summer fersure.
