What bindings hold up better in the longrun. I have handled both bindings and the salomons feel lighter.

Which would one would be better for some skis that are wider than 90mm in the waist?

pray for snow

LOOK! i hate my salomon bindings...looks are heavier but hold up a lot better

Get the Tyrolia Free Flex. I have them on my MT's and fucking love them. so sturdy and pretty light. and they arent ass rapers

Well, it goes like this. It was the middle of the day, it was very hot out, and I had to piss. So i did.

no question, get the Looks. salomon may feel a little lighter, but they break more than most bindings. Looks on the other hand are sturdy, last long, and are really reliable to only release when they have to

loooooks for sure.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

salomons have been known to break, if you enjoy your knees go with look's that have tuirn tables, markers eh they are way heavy.

go with salomon. they have the best toe pieces without question, its the big toe wings tha make them better for regular skiing, the looks or rossis are better for switch landings because they primarily rotate from the heel piece.

dont forget the looks have big dildos on the back of them. you dont want to fall on them, maybe its why everybody else likes them so much

ha you value your knees so you will stick with salomon or marker? well i hope you dont land backseat when your rockin those markers. goodbye acls

rossis are so much better than both go with the rossis

The only good thing about the Sals is that they can come apart backwards without tearing out the screws like Looks and Rossis. This is important when you air to fakie in the half pipe and catch your tails.

i had the freakin 7 10s and they were great and now im getting the 810 ti and there a good binding too, ive never rode looks but the salomons are good

Salomon has the best toe piece? Are you fucking serious? Its 'safe' I guess, but it will loosen up on you 3 or 4 times a day. You might not fuck up your knee but you wont be connected to your skis as often either. Personally, I like staying connected to my skis and saving my knee, which is why I ski looks.

Rossis are better than both of em? were you reffering to Salomon and Marker? cause Look and Rossignol bindings are pretty much the same.

yeah looks and rossi's are very simular. and don't go with salomon, I used to have salomon bindings until they died on me.

yes, go with the looks. and about the turntable tension, it isnt an issue. hell, it relly doent even need a spring. it just keeps them from floppin around. (the old turntable bindings didnt ahave a spring. what the turn table does, is move the pivot in a twisting fall from the back of the boot tab, upward to the center of your leg (inline with the tibia or some shit). so, when your boot is clicked in, it pushes the heel back. also, like said above, they adjust much better than the track style salomons. plush the release action is the best in the industry, and you can ride at a reasonable din, and not have to worry about lossing a ski when you dont want to. on salomons, you HAVE to ride them at 10 or 12, cause they pop off SO easy. plus, they do break. Looks are a far superior binding to the salomons, and the reactors are the best bindings out there, but they are expensive, only mount on line skis (i am not a fan of the freedom plate), and they are tall. fine for a real wide ski, but gonna hurt the feel of a ski like the chonic or 1260.

salomon are not as good as they were. look or ross' rule, but their brakes are soooo light (means, soft, breakable), ...

but look and ross' are more styly!

you guys dont ski with your bindings cranked up, wheres the steeze? my salomons have never had any problem with the toe pieces wiggling or any thing as a matter of fact. i like look for landing switch but i have problems with my knee after skiing on them for a day. salomon bindings are the shit! but if you really want good bindings, go buy some fritshci freerides

go to a world cup race and steal the binders off slalom skis.. then you have the best bidings. but dont get gs sg or dh, unless you have knees of steel

guess she doesn't know hers comes with free refills

Look is the best binding out there. Whoever said rossi is better than both, do your homework. Rossi own look and they are EXACTLY the same mechanically.

Markers and atomics are good if you like getting your microscope out and picking every single snowflake from your bindings. Otherwise, aviod them. They have no snow tollerance at all.

Salomons are just crap all around. Out of 2 shops in my general vicinity (within 20 mintes of my house) both of them carry salomon skis, and they carry ONE model of salomon bindings, which they won't push unless you specifically ask for it.

I got scratch 100's and one time i was skiing switch and when i spun around i caugt and edge and the spring thing that keeps the break out unclippeed. i fixed it at the bottom of the hill tho.

how yah figure?

the only prolblem with looks, is as stated above, the brakes are weak. but thats hardly a reason not to buy them. the track on the toe peice broke on mine (they were 2002s). but the new models are better built.

I have look P12 Jibs with the wide brake mounted on my fujatives and they are fucking sick bindings. they only come off when they should, I have nver had them dismount when they shouldnt and i only have my din at 8

just a question, and nuthing aghinst every one, but why does EVERYONE have jibs on thier skis, no matter what ski it is? they look terrible on anythin but tms, and all look bindings are identical, theres nothing special about them.
